Title: Crashes at Character Selection

I can't get past the title screen.
It crashes right as I'm about to go to the character selection!
I've tried running as a admin
I've checked if the animations I was using were converted, and yes they were.
I've checked for any files in the wrong spots, or extra particle files.
None of these worked!

Hm. What does the FHLog file say when you crash?

I would suggest trying to get in with the default animations. If you can then it's your animation pack. If not, then possibly it could be items or anything else that has to do with changing your character.

Well at least it is a start getting past the character screen! Crashing in the maps could be a number of issues. Some fixes could be:

1. Change the water reflection
2. Check particles folder for _0 or _1
3. Check the FHLog file after crashing to see if it could possibly be someone's preset from before the update

Like said above, I've already tried checking for extra particle files, there were none.

Ah there is actually another with an issue quite similar to this. Perhaps try a fresh install? That can be quite tedious, but making a backup of the folders should help with that. If you'd prefer not to, I'd recommend installing some backup folders (essentially the main FH folder without the .exe) and take the particles folder to replace that to see if that may work. If needed, I can send you a fresh particle folder via PM or Discord.

I don't know if this can help, but in the FeralHeart root folder is a notebook file called FH. There are errors you mentioned. The content of this for me looks like this:

The file is to give you some information as to why you crashed so you might be able to fix it!

That is interesting. Did you try a fresh install? If you have, I'd say get in contact with one of the staff members to see if it could possibly be a server issue (you're not the only one having this problem).

I haven't tried a reinstall yet, I'm just tired of reinstalling just for another problem to effect my game and then another reinstall. It's a never ending cycle.

It really does suck - especially when it comes to the markings, items, and any other mods. But if you do reinstall, try it without any ENBs, podium mods, etc. Markings/Items should be fine, but it could be another mod effecting all of this.

If you do decide to do the reinstall, I'd backup the presets folders, markings.cfg/marking folder, and the same for items.

Something was wrong with my terrains file in the "default" folder! Thanks though.
Edit:  I recently downloaded Thimble's FHU asset! I can run around in the Grounds just fine but I can't go to any other map
I got this message when I tried to go to Eastern Pass

You could go to : FeralHeart > media > terrains > fhmaps : to check if one of the default maps are missing though no crash would happen, as if simply missing you would just end up in a black void. The same is true for custom maps but those are just in the terrains folder with each of them having their own folder. As for finding out what causes a map error specifically... idk. xD

Okay, now I can stay in Eastern pass for a few minutes before I crash. That's progress
It still has the same message in the FH log though, I'll be searching the forums for any fix
Edit: By deleting default.fho I'm now able to just travel in Eastern Pass, but Bonfire? Nope.

Perhaps try a clean install with no modifications at all? "clean" meaning to delete your current install to be sure that no old files are left behind to mess things up. If it still doesn't work without any modifications then I'm just not sure.
And when you do add modifications, be sure to test if the game works or not for each new modification.

The Fresh Reinstall has worked! Thanks Vortex, now I can explore lands without crashing every few seconds!
