Title: Map-maker crashes game

So I recently got sent someone elses map in order to help them add to it. If I've done something wrong I'm sorry I'm new to FeralHeart but the issue is whenever I try to open map-maker now it completely shuts Feralheart. Everything else works ? I can enter the creative den but I CANT enter map maker. I deleted everything i got sent but it still will NOT open.

I'd say check if you have double particles by going to Feralheart > Media > Particles and search for any .particle file ending with _0, _1, _2, _3, etc. If you do, then delete them.

How did you install the map?

I had same problem. If you use Paint to make height map, it won't work. The best program is GIMP or Photoshop.

Moving this the Game Help board

Adding onto what Dark_heart suggested make sure your height map is:
• In Grayscale mode (not just the colors grayscale)
• 513 x 513
• .PNG format
• Flattened to 1 layer before you save/export from your image editor
