Title: Preset Glowing Glitch?

Okay I do requests for presets and alot of people are asking for glowing, which I have no problem with, but I must be doing something wrong. The marking doesn't really glow, just stands out and there is a white rim around it from some angles. If anyone could help me get a better glow that would be great. Thank you

Yes, up close (http://i1103.photobucket.com/albums/g469/BrokenBadAss/screenshot_06032011_113535086.png) far away (http://i1103.photobucket.com/albums/g469/BrokenBadAss/screenshot_06032011_113525801.png) the red markings are supposed to glow.

Isn't the glow...only apparent when in dark areas of the game such as caves or at night?

It still has the white around it, and it can glow in daylight when you have emissive 0.3 0.3 0.3 in the coding, just not as strong
