lets say UnderTakers and TEC and DOW maybe even the cop dogs join in. wolves lions and whatever other there species had one huge war. I think that would be cool to watch as long as they dont argue saying "Hey you godmodd >_>" and such. But one day they all just go at it in flourtine plains at the t or maybe they make a battle map of some kind. What do you think? Think it would be cool..Think it would be a waste of time..Think it would cause too much trouble..

Negatives:
. someone starts going on how the other person cheats or god mods
. lag if theres a bonfire load of people there watching plus the ones fighting.
. I know someone will Troll this somehow..

Yes I was part of some of it. I'm not sure how long it was, a few months or so? It wasn't just in one single RP, there was a lot of politics and stuff involved between the two prides so it was quite a long war. Basically every now and then a battle would spark up somewhere and you could join it whenever if you were an ally or part of one of the prides.

I'm so so with this.
If it were able to be confined to a private map inwhich those who wanted to join could download then yeah, go ahead since it won't be bothering anyone else in the public maps.
However if this was to be held in Fluorite Plains or something, I can see it easily going out of hand with people not listening, people using their characters to bully innocent onlookers, clog the chatbox with rps and other paraphenalia in relation to the said War.
I've witnessed someone try and organise a violent activity on another site/game and it just fell through because even though there were rules, no one abided by them. I can see the same thing happening on here if it were to occur, just because it seems to have a similar 'audience' to this site/game.
And you have to be mindful, that not everyone would want to participate or witness a giant War between prides/packs.

But like Draak said, it would cause quite a riot if it were to be in a map like Fluorite. Perhaps it could be either in a deserted spot in the plains, if no one really wants to download a map, or are having problems. Or just some simple private map, as Draak said. ^^

I don't know about this...It's a very interesting idea, and ideally, would make the game a lot more fun. But, I'll be honest: I don't have a lot of faith in the FH community. People do godmode and powerplay, and it does annoy others to the point where they don't want to be part of it anymore. There would definitely be a few screaming fights, maybe because one person keep dodging or something, and you can count on those people who would run in and yell "*kills everyone with meteor*". Not to mention normal characters vs. supernatural ones. I've seen plenty of "shadow demons" on this game, and I have no doubt that a lot of them would use their "powers" or whatever to gain an unfair advantage against a normal opponent.
So, all in all? A good concept, but I really don't think it would work out here in FH.

I'm so with this, sure it has its negtives and positives, all ideas do, and it would keep me from going bored XD I find that lots of ppl cuase trouble in FH just becuase thier bored and want to see some action, a huge rp battle or something might be great ;D

I think MAYBE. This could be sorted, for example. You have to sign up to join? So you swear saying you wont godmod ect, and then only then you are giving the download ect..

good idea, and this doesnt have to be added, and might take effort, but what if the ppl who downloaded the "battle map" would have a symbole on thier nametag? that way we could tell fighters from hangers. i forgot to say this, but a battle map would be great, that way we can leave the world in peace and take our fight elsewhere XD

War would be epic, But what about the lag.. Trolls... There would have to be either a private map or maybe one of the big mulit-user maps..

This sounds like a great idea! Like some other people have said, it could happen on a private map where you have a choice to join in or not or maybe just to watch. Plus, it just sounds fun in general. We still have to keep the god-modders in mind, though.

Trolls, to put it simply are just users who go out of their way to make other users life miserable through "trolling". Which is generally through harrassment/spam/swears/insults/etc.
So pretty much they disrupt the game in bad ways.

Trolls shouldn't be too much of a problem as they can just be blocked or a private map made.

This majorly. I sadly have to agree.
Considering how bad the noob rpers are normally and how many there are, I think that if there was a War, the Godmoding and such would escalate to crazy proportions.
And not to mention "I KILLED U" "NU UH" "YA HUH" "NU UH"
If this were to happen, it would have to be incredibly well organised and somehow have a system to filter out the Godmoders and such to make it fair. But then again people could easily just claim to be part of it without anyone's consent. I've no idea how you'd "punish" people for doing that.

Only people that are officaly signed up to fight or have gone through a Good behavior contract will get the map download

this is a nice idea though it has cons,... a private war map with specific mods there could help like a message that pops up upon arrival with rules/regulations that when broken result in automatic ban from the map for X amount of time... O.O

good idea, but that might be a bit complicated, but i have another less complicated idea, although it will take time. I did a Wipeout map, with logs hanging over course 1 course 2 etc. what if in front of the portal was a display of logs telling the rules? digital letters, the first thing you see when you enter

I honestly disagree but only because of the groups you've said: UT isnt around anymore lol. And some groups honestly dont like each other at all so involving them in a war would be chaotic xD
But a Rp War would be pretty cool but remember about overflow chat and how mature people are going to have to be to participate in the event. @_@ There should be a limit on numbers.

Oh yes, a war... Maybe a private map is better for events like this, but keep in mind, you should make your own site and put a private war map there because of the trollers and other rude people..

Love the idea :) And as the others have said it would be very good to have a website, a good behavior contract, and a password-locked download for the map. No matter what it would take some time for the map to be created (It's like waiting for a new game :D) as well as having the rules stated somewhere on the site (Being a requirement and for the good behavior contract maybe have a question or two concerning about the rules and if not answered correctly they would have to wait maybe15 minutes to redo the contract....?) <- Just some suggestions right there lol

you bring up a good point on how long itll take to make the map plus how wed make the contract and password thing.

Technically, you could just not share the download link until people have signed/read/quizzed/bla the contract or whatsit. And then after they pass you send them the link. And THEN of course pray the user keeps their word and doesn't distribute it.

Hi Im the leader of the Undertakers and we did this for a while. we had a battle arena that was public. We held fights that were public in our private map every friday at 3-4 est. Anyways, when UT had to take a break they were cancelled. But we did have a password protected map and a site with chat as well. It was very difficult and suprisingly, not to many people showed up.

i absolutely love the idea of a battle/war. but what i think is that because many many MANY people would love a battle it would be mad laggy so there should be like, five or six smallish maps that paople can enter which have a certain capacity set by whoever does that stuff.
OR
there can be a panel in which one can choose to either host or join a battle which had a set capacity by the host that can be in either bonfire, ficho, flaurite, etc. like wolfquest. i hope you get what i mean

but whats the fun of dogs and cats separate? we could have a war between the nimble canine and the fierce feline! as well as cat vs. cat or wolf vs. wolf

That would be good, it being all together. Maybe each group of animals could have a 'base' and then there are fights over the territories and just randomly throughout the map. Would this be done in local, group or general chat?

I was thinking general also. I run my group (Animal Paradise) in general chat and we just chat randomly occasionally in group and it works really well. As long as the chatbox is extended to full height the chat doesn't move too fast either ^^

It is a literate realistic all species rp on a huge map with lots going on. You need to give an rp sample in game to join

im not a fan of huge wars but i do like fighting in one on one combat. Or one on three. It happens to me alot. I currenly only run one group which is pretty successfull at the time (the one in my siggy)
