Title: How can I change a file to mesh or material file?

If I download a mesh from a site, how can I change it to material and mesh file so I can use it in my map?

You have to open it into a program like OGRE Blender (which is kinda a difficult program to use) and export it as a mesh file. Then you gotta create a material for it and such.
