This game has the perfect framework for it. Only the model and animation would need to be done.
Now clearly having cell-shaded midget horses next to photorealistic wolves and lions is silly and there would need to be some way of isolating the two, but this game itself has so much already in place as far as functional networking and customization goes.
MLP:FiM is taking over the internet, and soon, the world itself.
Impress the pony lords and your lives may be spared from slavery!
EDIT: I do not mean having ponies as part of Feral Heart. I mean having it as a separate game using the SAME GAME ENGINE.

Well, I hope nobody thinks I mean we should have ponies right along side with the wolves and lions, but there should definitely be an option on the side to access a parallel cartoonish world.
Trust me on this, you would make a lot of people happy :P

No. It would be nice to have an omnivore or herbivore simply so the carnivores have something to hunt (and rping prey seems interesting). But a cartoon world? And specifically ponies from MLP? No thank you. That would ruin the atmosphere of the FH game. If you wanted ponies "on the side" then it would just be a separate game. Go play an MLP game if you want that. I'm sure some type of MMO MLP thing exists already given how popular FiM has become.

Yes, there are some MLP projects already in the works.
However, this game has a huge jumpstart on all those projects.
People are basically having to reinvent the wheel here every time they make a game like this
When I say 'on the side' yes I do mean another game people could play, but using the same engine.
I was more interested in the adventure/RP aspect rather than the actual designing of ponies, but I do most of that by drawing MLP on iScribble. There you have no limits for what you can do except to the limits of your imagination, drawing ability, and that of the others involved.

I like MLP:FiM, don't get me wrong, but having ponies, even if you made them real horses instead of cutesy, MLP ponies, it would still feel wrong. When I think of Feral, I normally think of carnivores of some form.. a horse just doesn't fit the feral image to me. I dunno. Plus, there would be so much rainbow and love and holy - I would die from just that. Seriously, we're already cursed with Sparkle Dogs, we do NOT need Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie running around everywhere. No thanks. xD

Agree with this. Hate my little pony, always have. It kills me to see all this my little pony stuff... No offense to those who like it, I just have never liked it.

That's fine if some people don't like it, but for those who do, it would be an amazing thing. You would complete our lives XD
I must stress I'm not proposing they be added to Feral Heart, but that it be a separate game that uses the same server, and different set of fitting maps and all.
This way, all of the people with a passionate hate for ponies will go on living happily.

I'm not sure if Kovu is the only one with access to the code, and if it's all closely guarded or not.

Well, I think you would have to contact Kovu.
But I think this is still on-topic, SecondLife has a whole Bronyville server now where you can actually use pony avatars and stuff. Check Equestria Daily, I think it's featured.

..Ya know, I actually had this crazy idea for making a MLP mmorpg looong before I ever played FeralHeart (and for that matter, before FiM existed) I still have the sketches for the maps and character models, but then I scrapped the whole idea when I changed my life goal from game design to animator |D
And curses, now I'm actually thinking about doing it on the side >.>
Too bad I know literally zero about game design! : D

It looks good, but FH has less complexity, and it's easier to use. I spent like 4 hours trying to figure out how to customize things on SL. If we used this game, the process would be much easier for people.

I have nothing against ponies, and even like them when they keep to their own world (I'm on the forums in the above mentioned site), but I'd personally rather they didn't mix with FeralHeart. Two completely different worlds, in my opinion, and this way everyone stays happy.

ya i don't think kov would put ponies in the game at all cause not many people want ponies anyway and only few do so if it happens it does but no i rather keep ponies away from FH.

This is exactly what I feel FH doesn't need, I am quite sure I heard someone say there is a MLP MMORPG game somewhere but as I said I couldn't bare Ponies on a game like FH no offence to all you pony fans out there but as LKD said this game was made to be a more realistic more feral yah know. Just my in put.

'Ponies' and 'FeralHeart' are two words that are praticly opposite to each other.
If someone asked you to name a 'Feral' species, you would probaly reply wolves or lions, maybe cats. But NEVER ponies.

Sorry but kovu may never add ponies due to the game 'feralheart', which it's made of canines and felines and ponies/canines/felines won't go together. And I'm not a huge fan of MLP due to the huge amounts of MLP fans around the Internet. Plus, I don't want this game turn into a 'MLP MMORG' game and a bunch of ponies Role-playing in front of a lion king rp or a the princess and the frog rp (which I mostly play as tiana). Tearless's link is very helpful if you want to roam as a MLP pony.

Let me say this: You won't be seeing a pony game from Kov.

So, just to let all you guys know, the only one that made the Feral Heart game is Kovu.

You don't seem to understand that Kov did nearly everything
In Feral Heart;
The models
The scripts
The Map Making, Preset Making, Emote Making & Soon-To-Come Movie making codes
etc, etc. (With the help of Game engines, which I'm about to explain)
You know when you start Feral Heart, all these weird un-known, out-of-this-world icons and names (example irrKlang.) come up? 99% of people just skip them; but they're all the game engines Kov used to make Feral Heart.
I'll give you four good reasons why Kov wouldn't be making a pony game:
1: He's already got Feral Heart to work on.
All this awesome stuff like wings, emotes, actions, options, items, etc, etc take a LONG time to do; something someone has to have a lot of patience for.
2: Beleive it or not, he's got a life!
Most people are complaining left, right and center about how Kov should make more maps, new items, etc, etc. But they don't seem to relise that he's a real person, and he has a life to live that doesn't just focus on video games for the benefits of other people.
3: Time... Forums... Staff....
Okay, so you just stated that he should make a whole new pony game. Well, a whole new game requires a whole new forum and staff, doesn't it?
I bet you're thinking: But he can just hire the current FeralHeart staff for it!
Well, as I said before, the staff and in-game Moderators are real people (some beleived they were bots.. which is... not true...) with real lives; if they were dumped with the Moderation job for the pony game, as well as the FeralHeart game, they'd have to spend (more like waste) time on both of the forums; and both of the games.
Even if Kov went searching for new Mods; it's a whole new "Trust and Hire" job.
Moderators, Global Moderators and Co-Admins are all very important and special people who have permission to lock, move, delete, re-write and re-name topics and categorys, as well as ban and change people's passwords and usernames.
Now, imagine if Kov hired a fake Mod? They could wreck the whole forum.
The Feral Heart forum is a very lucky forum with great staff members; they are all completly helpful, they keep the forum under control, and not one has ever run wild with their "powers" to harm the forum in any way.
Imagine how risky it is now to pick new staff (Moderators, Mini-Mods) members? While the Admins are doing that, they're risking the sake of the forum and it's members (as I explained before, even a Mini-Mod has the power to completly destroy the forum).
4: Learning so much!

Ahhh-No. Feral Heart doesn't just use one game engine.

I bet some people haven't even heard of these before; but these are some of the engines Kov used to make Feral Heart.
Here's a challenge: Learn every single one of them and make a game like Feral Heart.
See how complicated they are? Do you even understand any of the text these websites are presenting to you? (please bear in mind that this little text of rant is for the people who actually click on a link/s)
Think about how much time Kov had to spend making Feral Heart.
Think about all the codeing he had to learn.
Think about all the music he had to make.SO. I hope I've made my point clear to you (sorry if I offened anyone in any way..). ;)
But... if Kov totally flips and decides to make a pony game... someone tell me 'cause I spent an hour thinking up these reasons. >:( Just kidding ;D

He didn't make all the models, he didn't make markings, he didn't make all the maps, he didn't do EVERYTHING. But he is the one in control of everything. Coding and the game itself? Yes. But he didn't do the "small things" like the markings and such. Coding and art are TWO separate things.
