Title: I made a height map, but it does not show up in the map

Ok, i got GIMP finally, and i tried making a map. i got the height map half done, and i decided to try it out ingame to see if it would work, its in greyscale and everything, but it does not show up ingame in my maps, i named it correctly, and went over to directions in the documentation a few times. what am i doing wrong?

Well, what do you mean by "it does not show up?"

So you typed it in the "World" tab and this happened?

this is a map i already had a tiny bit done on, but still, it never shows up O_o FH hates me, first i lose a ton of mesh files, and when i download i still dont have them, now this >.<

That didn't answer my question, but okay. xD

Have you tried switching from .png to .jpg, and/or the like?

i edited the watermill map and renamed it, so its the right size, type, and its greyscale. so i have no clue whats going on with it not showing O_o and what "world tab" o-O im so confused right now over something simple -_-

The World tab, and the place where you type in your heightmap.

So, you typed in the image's name there, right?

Lol, it's alright, I've had dumb moments as well, I tried to put a .gif in there once. xD

XD my whole camp on the map disappeared because the map was to high XD and my brother just opened a thing of ketchup near me and the smell ewwwwwww i hate ketchup lol

XD is it bad that im listening to hamster dance while working on the height map more?
