Title: Unsure what needs fixing
Post by: blackcat123 on June 26, 2011, 11:03:49 pm
When I start the game the water feature and foliage don't show up at all and my characters masks aren't right. Then when i try to start the game i get a bad token everytime.

I have screenshots below. Is there something i need to download or something? I have the new version i just downloaded the game on this computer but have played for a long time.

For the visual problem, try switching rendering modes inside the options menu of the game, I think yours is set to OpenGL rendering, set it to Direct3D9 instead, if that doesn't help, try updating your graphic card drivers.

For the bad token, it could be because of weak communication. The server works all fine right now so if it doesn't help if you rejoin a few times and keep getting bad token over and over again.

Try turning off other bandwidth nomming applications on your computer, maybe even other devices that uses your internet. Place yourself closer to the internet source if you're using wireless internet etc.

Bandwith nomming = Programs that take up alot of bandwith, memory, cpu, etc. Red's way of saying all that is simply "nomming", or "eating". XD Try reinstalling the game and like Red said, switching the rendering to the option it's not currently set to. You can do that by clicking "options" when you start up the game. If that doesn't work, try uninstalling and re-installing. Hope this helps~
