Title: Can't see ice or snow when playing in a pack map

I recently downloaded a map for a group that I'm in. Everyone can see the ice and snow, but to me the ground and water are the same as when I travel to every map. I've tried to download the miscellaneous file to Terrains and to Exports, but neither work. I have another map that has a miscellaneous file that is working just fine in Exports. Could this be a bad graphics card? Do I need to reinstall the game?

Try switching rendering subsystems, under Options.

I'm afraid that when I do that, my characters' colors invert. White fur instead of gray, black eyes instead of yellow, etc.

You can always switch back if that happens.

I tried, and it didn't work, unfortunately. My characters looked inverted, and I still didn't see any snow or ice. I also uninstalled and reinstalled the game, and checked to make sure that I had my terrain and temp files.
