The creature slipped through the undergrowth, lifting its muzzle and scenting the air for danger. It stopped, its ears
pricked and alert. It's tail flicked; a silent command for the others to join it. A yowl sounded through the air like
thunder. "Attack!" The first creature, a black she-cat, ducked a lunging ginger male. He landed lightly behind her.
She turned around swiftly. He swiped a paw at her muzzle, but she ducked it. She saw that as a chance. She darted forward
and swiped his front paws from under him, causing him to land awkwardly. But he was good and rolled with the movement
as soon as he landed, and was on his paws in seconds. The black she-cat wasn't expecting it, and he saw that as a chance to
attack, too. he jumped sideways and darted forward to bite her shoulder. she yowled as he bowled her over. The ginger male
loomed over her. "What are you doing tresspassing on OUR territory?" He spat furiously. Saliva landed on the she-cats muzzle,
she shook it off. "We weren't TRESSPASSING, we were PASSING." She corrected him boldly. "Lies!" he spat, and threw his head
forward to land a painful blow on her neck. She threw her head forward and bit deeply into his forepaw. she felt her teeth
meet bone. he yowled in pain and drew his arm back sharply, blood splattered the forest floor. she jumped up, arching her
back, bristling and hissing furiously at him. "Stop!" a screech split the air. an old grey Tom walked through the ferns,
white hairs on his muzzle. "What is the meaning of all this?" he hissed angrily. for the first time she noticed her group
of cats were standing around her, bristling and snarling furiously. but they weren't fighting. they were looking at the
old grey tom. she looked at him. then at the ginger tom. "These fur-brains were tresspassing on our territory!" he
 hissed.
