Personality: Purity is a young lioness with a pure heart. She grew up in her dad's pride and was more whit her dad then with her mother. Her dad was old and wise. At night he always told the stories of his past and where she should be careful for.
At her birthday( so when she became 4) stranger trespassed the territory and bet her dad.
After this all cubs escaped , some of them together some of them alone. And the youngest got killed.
Purity went after her dad and saw something cruel. Her dad was wounded all over his body, his face was mutated by the wounds.. she couldn't see her dad in this creature but she knew it was her dad..
When she approached him and called his name her dad said something to her:
"Run, run my child, escape from this lands and find yourself a pride who is worth to have you, a pride wha..." These where his last words before he let his last breath.
After this Purity did what her dad asked and looked for a pride till she found this one... hoping this is the pride her dad meant.
Sometimes she can talk you think she is older then she looks like , but she is a teen. Everything she can say she learned form her dad.

This really sounds great, I might think about letting my Character Terathion join somehow. He likes finding the meanings of dreams, but is also a sometimes hard to handle teen.

Themiles: I am sorry to say but, the char you want to join into this pride will not be accepted. Only Voodanian, Najurean, or crosses of the two may join this pride. I Will think about allowing other species join, but if I do it will only be a small number of species, all being close to a realistic big cat. This pride does not accept any mythicial creatures etc.

I am going to state my opinion flatly here, so no shooting down of the Nyla plz?
I think the Jungle/Savannah Najuru 'prides' is a stupid idea.
Najuru is a pride in itself. Separating it into two vastly different ones seems like it would just be an unnecessary complication. We never had enough members to separate into two prides to begin with, and I doubt we ever will, no matter how many members we get. There have been single prides with a LOT more members, and they did fine. For the sake of making an in-character argument, I think the pride members have gone through too many trials and movings to find any reason to divide the pride in two AGAIN, much less have them magically evolve into a different sort of species (which the originals are then banned from breeding with).
And call me biased, but the idea of green lions seems rather repulsive to me. Green is for lizards and bugs, not pretty cats. >.>' I mean, green details and a few green manes is okay, but green fur? e-O

Realistically speaking; no green-lizard-lion is going to crawl about, sure.
But this isn't realistic, so your green kitties aren't going to be morph into lizards. Najureans and their species variations are simply being broadened beyond reality, no need to point out it's exotic. We get that, that's why it's like that.
If you run around FH or IT, either way, you're going to find some pretty rainbowish characters, and Jungle Najureans are being colored for the sake of, believe it or not, realism. (Plus it's just like WOW.) You can't be gold and hunt prey in a jungle. That just doesn't work out, considering you stick out like a sore thumb. Of course, they've also been expanded in coloration for the sake of creativity. We've shot down people for their colorful designs when it comes to Najureans; so now they can be a pickle if they want to be.
Oh and better yet.
If you don't want to be a 'lizard' you don't have to be.
That's all i'm saying.

Did you READ the species? The two can breed. With Voodoo around, Najuru doesn't need to be Desert cats! The pride is still one pride. But due to climates, there has to be a split. A savannah couldn't live in a jungle. Green furred cats would fit perfectly in a Jungle. I was just going to get rid of Jungle cats all together but then that'd make Najuru just like Voodoo look wise. So for Variety, we have the Jungle cats. Also. Have you notice that you CAN'T be a jungle Najurean unless I say YES first? So we wont have population issues. This is a game. Lets just have fun with it. Why does everything have to be nitpicked?

Blade and Torn are right. We discussed this in depth, and went through changes.
Having two halves supports those who want a Jungle variation (or those who enjoyed Najuru's jungle days). The Savannah side supports those who want a bit of Najurean originality (something closer to Voodoo); but we ARE different from Voodoo, will always be, too. Plus, think of the plots. We're doing this for fun, for variety. Not every pride has to fit a mold. We've proven to break molds before--that was how Najuru was formed.
Anything I may say further is going to be grumpy, since I've been listening to some OOC backlash, and quite frankly, I'm sick of it. I don't want Najuru closed down after only a day of being up.
Apply the characters you want here; I'll add them when I have the free time. If you have a question over what rank, I'll check, and if it's a higher rank, I'll ask Blade. I'll ask you for a new rank if it's a no.

Uh. Uh. How do I say this...? Well, have you ever seen a jaguar, Torn? They're not green. And I never said they were going to turn into lizards.
I'm not trying to start an argument, really. I don't like green cats, but okay with it. I just won't make one. What I'm trying to say, is that I don't like the idea of having the Jungle and Savannah Najureans in two separate prides. It just seems... Awkward. And unnecessary. I feel that it would only cause issues and separation, both IC and OOC. From what I remember, our not green characters did fine in the jungle.

Ny, I don't really see why the pride is split into two separate prides either.. or why Blade created Najurean Hyenas to go AGAINST Voodanians AND Najureans? Voodanians take Hyena's as pets.. NOT enemies.
And I agree with everyone else too.. because, I mean yeah it's a game, and yeah it's creativity..but still.. if a Green Najurean lion mated with a Voodanian lion.. I would NOT accept that. Just saying.

Allie's right. It is /my/ pride! But, Najuru isn't like that. We've always listened to the members. Jungle Najureans will be cut. I'll add some colors to the Savannah, but not the greens. They Hyena I thought, being that Najuru are Savannah cats now, would be a good rival to the prides. For some cool rps and plots. Ya know? I remember being so excited about the Edarian Raid in Voodoo when Asaja was a cub. It never happened. I thought the Hyena would be a good Natural enemy, rather than some big bad evil pride or just El. Plus, Voodoo Developed Wolves. So, I thought Najuru could develop a Hyena, but instead of being friendly, have them be enemies, as a spotted hyena is the rival of a lion.

oh man, cannot believe so much backlash would come from the jungle najurians, yeesh it's Blade's pack & as for the whole split thing with the two different types, allow me to simplify it, it's not a split but more like a country with different states, but the states still asnwer to the king & queen...hopefully that'll end that argument. Bloody hell it is just a game in the end so why are some of you kicking such a huge fuss over some of the details?.

We don't need a mod or admin popping in to tell you guys to take it to PM or drop it. Jungle Najureans have been removed as we did not need this fuss. We are keeping the hyenas, but separately, of course.
Do not call names, insult, or otherwise bash or I will quite strongly suggest to Blade that whoever does will not be accepted if they apply.
Nyla brought her opinion of which I did ask the members for, and even if we reacted negatively, we've taken notice and proper action has occurred and the Jungle section was removed; anything further in the negativity department is unnecessary and I feel warranting a pride ban, temporary or permanent. :3
Now, since I know asking everyone to apologize likely won't happen even if I may say so myself--I DO apologize--let's move on.
Don't be afraid of reapplying old chars and showing us new ones. I'll eventually add them; I still need to do mine, but that's mostly because I'm too lazy to get screenshots and it's hardly worth putting them up without pics. If anyone has trouble cropping theirs to 200x200, send me the link and I'll fix it. Same with the coding; I'm just looking for what you filled out, and Blade will be checking the ranks and how the character fits within species guidelines, or if a higher rank is deserved.

I checked last night, and there's also:
A separated chat system where instead of everything being Username or Character Name, you can choose Local to be one, the other, or both--and the same with General. Also, you can turn the Arrival chat off. Groups also now has a search button--one we very dearly needed. And the music is awesome! Plus, when entering a map, the name of it pops up on the screen then fades away. I think they fixed Group chat... but I am not sure. I didn't quite test it, but I noted that it didn't pop up at all last night LOL

Oh Blade I've just discovered that the Atoza map does not work right unless you also have the Voodoo map installed, seems some of the tree stuff in Atoza needs the Voodoo counterparts to work right. Figured I'd let you know since, some of the trees lacked any texture, but once I installed the Voodoo map it was fixed.

ugh... No.. Thats because I used the default dead tree. But Aroxy overwrote the default with hers so now its trying to read a texture that you wont have.
Darnit. This map crap is getting on my nerves!
BTW. Atoza is NOT to be RPed in yet! For now we rp with Voodoo in their map until our map is done. Just don't be rude and Intrude on Voodoo RPs without asking etc.

Well Blade, all that you need to do is take the overrided Dead tree from Voodoo then put it in the Atoza file, should fix the issue, apart from the tree the rest of the map is fine.

DinWolfie, I cannot yet accept your application. Please read the species thread. Females may only EVER have the cheek tuft that is the color of the tail tip. They cannot grow Back Tufts and MUST have the ears listed for the species.
As far as images go. EVERYBODY LISTEN UP. From here on out. DO NOT apply unless you have an INGAME screenshot! It is pointless to put up line art or drawings when you'd just have to change or update it anyway. So your applications MUST INCLUDE an ingame SDcreenshot or they will NOT be accepted! Don't like it? Din, if you had read carefully, you would have seen that Blade said 'from here on out'. She also mentioned that you /can't/ have a back tuft, and I don't think Atoza/Ayona has a winter anyway. Either way, it defeats the purpose if your character's image doesn't look like their ingame model. Since you have a screenshot as your siggie, I'll assume you know how to take and upload them. It only takes a few minutes, so it would be appreciated if you got a proper screenshot.

Nyla pretty much spoke what I had to say. All your app said was to lose the ears. The reason you werent accepted was because of the winter back tuft. Najureans are descended from Voodoo. They only thrive in harsh desert climates or the climate of the African Savannah. Any extra fur would hinder them and could possibly kill them. Another thing is, if you had Truly read the species thread, it lists the build of the species. So why did you orignially apply with pointed ears for a species that clearly states that they only have lion ears?

Also, I removed the Extra section of the application that stated that linearts were fine, immediately after Blade said that.
That section was added between when IT was down, and FH wasn't released. Only some people could utilize the preset creator, so we added that. We needed some way of seeing what the character looked like; we couldn't accept characters that did not fit the species. Blade basically just said above why your character was denied, and that means you can re-apply.
As for why that was still in the application; we didn't pay attention to it.
But please, do not be rude. We won't accept roleplayers that would cause issues during pride roleplays or decisions. We're here for fun, and for the friendships we share; not cutting remarks.

Females NEED the cheeck tuft the same color as their tail. its a must. all must have tufts. The exception is some of the 'vetereans' as theyre more like in between Najuru and Voodanian

For the hyenas, the cave portal is inside an elephant skull. Yes you can get in there. Ive tested the climbability of the skull.
please note. There ARE IT Prey meshes in the map. They don't move obviously. They are just there to represent herds. There is only one group of each prey. (Wildebeest, Gazelle, Giraffe, Elephant, and Zebra) These arent the only herds that roam the land! They re just there for visuals and fun. So you DON'T have to always find a herd to have a hunting RP.
KEEP IN MIND: During RP, Prey only wanders in the YELLOW areas or in Najuru Pride's Territory. This means Hyenas must venture into the unclaimed territory or brave the pride's territory. The lions must 9/10 times hunt in the yellow zones as well as prey tends to stay there in RP.
The DARK COLORED CAVES are NOT claimable! They are BIRTHING dens. Most if not All are surrounded by VERY TALL Grass. Lionesses! You MUST seek out a den to have your cubs! ALL the dens are in the NEUTRAL Territoy! This means that there IS a chance for Hyenas to find you! BUT, when Roleplaying. Keep in mind. The Dens are hidden by Grass, if a lioness and cubs hide, it would be very unlikely a hyena would find them easily!
The Pride camp is obvious.
The Hyena Clan lives in the wastelands mostly. Their camp is scattered. They have several LARGE caves to house groups of members. There are no personal Dens! The Matriarch and her family (mate pups, grand pups etc) share the largest cave, It is marked by a skull on top of it. The dens nect to that cave are for higher ranking clan members only! They are marked by a large spine ontop!

The 'Bad Token' and 'Unable to connect' isn't really related to the map. I'm hoping Blade will add a version without the .fhz and just the folder and .map, since that's the ONLY way it works for me. I don't know why; the Titanic one works for me, as do most other .fhz.
If that confused anyone [I'm confusing, I admit it LOL] I'm saying that 'Bad Token' seems related to the map being in .fhz form.
Unable to Connect is either the same thing or it's lag-based. I'm unsure.

It seems most prides try to designate an 'rp day' for their members. For some, the day is chosen, for others, it's a specific day every week [such as every Saturday]. Should we do that here? If so, which one; specific days, or we choose a day as we see fit? How many days every week?
We need to keep in mind that Naju Clan will have to be on a different day, so ideas for them too are welcome here. Much easier to hold all of this on one thread. We need to make sure that we don't step over the days other groups are running, or over each other.
I also want to say that, like I've seen in Voodoo, rps among members WITHOUT the presence of high-ranking characters is STRONGLY encouraged. That is the backbone of every pride.

Najuru's only albino. <3 I also changed his eyes from a blood red to a very light blue. Lighter than Lat's since he IS albino and thus all pigments are decreased severely. He still has his pink markings! See the outer ears? x33

A certain someone put back-breaking work into each and every one of those ranks, and it is hurtful that you should feel so against them. Like FJ said, they're for the purpose of variety and uniqueness. No matter how confusing they may seem, or pretty, they're not just for show. They have a purpose that doesn't revolve around flaunting some new language.

Since it seems like default rp days every week is the going vote, let's all discuss the exact days. Blade said that Naju Clan and Najuru pride will have them the same day--we'll just be rping via Local, which does NOT show up in the chats of those who are outside of viewing distance. I'd prefer weekend days, but I know many people already claim those days. So I wanna hear from everyone; what are you guys' preferred days? We'll choose two days for every week. Rules for those who miss those days are pending [ and honestly, I don't know if I can squeeze their coding in... x_x ]
And Torn isn't, but sometimes Nyla oversteps her boundaries. We do what we must to remind her of them. <3

Make sure that when you installed the objects, you didn't put the folder into my_objects--that you just put the files themselves in.

@Sabi - My computer just doesn't accept some maps, and this is one of them :c You know, like how computers are strange like that >.< They'll accept any map you download, besides the one you need. Badly. <.>
@FJ - I made sure, like, ten times owo Its only the files themselves that I put in there, not the folder.
EDIT - @Tornpaw - It either freezes(Feralheart.exe has stopped responding), says 'Bad Token' or 'Cannot connect to map server'

Under the download for the map on the first page, I added a download for a less-lag version. I took out the positioning for the prey and removed all grass, so it should stop lagging x33

I am sorry to say but Your application was not accepted. The following are the reasons why it was denied.
1. You didn't follow the proper Application form.
2. You didn't code your application
3. We require a screenshot of your character in the application.
4. The Species part of the app is there for a reason. Putting 'You'll never know' is not only rude, but proves you truly did not read the rules of the pride. Only Najureans or Najuran/Voodanian Hybrids are allowed. So, Telling us your character's species is REQUIRED.

@Liyese: I cannot accept your application. In the pride information, it states that Najuru will not accept orphaned cubs, even if they are of Voodanian or Najurean decent. In the wild, Lions kill stray cubs. Voodoo, the ancestor of Najuru, would accept cubs. But, Due to a rift in the Najurean history, they have devolved somewhat, taking on behaviors closer to a Feral Lion. Thus, cubs can ONLY be born into the pride. If you want to join, you MUST apply as a teen or older.

If you want to be born into the pride, you will have to wait until one of our members falls pregnant. Do not rush them to get their chars preggo either. In all honesty, I beleive we only have a few, 2-3 adult females in the pride capable of getting pregnant. As far as males, theres only 1 or 2 adult males I think... That don't have mates or already like someone else.
So. You will just have to be patient and wait. Najuru probably isnt even ready for litters quite yet.

It's up to Blade, but I'd make sure you go over ALL of the species rules before you enter a picture and/or make your character, read EVERYTHING carefully.
You may have nailed it, I'll go check. But I'm just saying, there are important rules and regulations that you have to be sure you understand, without question, unless it's about that rule, NOT challenging it or trying to get an exception or whatever.

Did you READ the species at all? Underpelts MUST be lighter. The brown is a TAD too dark and too red. Teens must have Half Manes if male. Mane and Tail tip MUST be the same. (Can't tell in your picture) And Teens lose their cub spots. When a lion becomes a teen, They get their true 'adult' markings and marking color. Also. GREEN eyes are a RARE Najurean color. You must ASK me permission before you even apply to have GREEN eyes!
Until those are fixed, I cannot accept you.

Please try not to use custom markings, as many do not wish to download them, nor see a completely white character.
If you use them, state the marking used so others may download it. Most of Hammy's are fine, but the cross markings are a no. They just look.. too out there.

Basically, I'm just asking you to stop posting here and when we feel you've improved enough, Blade or I will pm you. And it might be months before that time occurs, but don't be disheartened. I won't haggle any of these points with you, but I'll be more than willing to explain in further detail, if any of my rambling confuses you.

Okay, news. No rp thread will be made, as we're encouraging rping ingame. We're using Voodoo's map, due to plot reasons.
RP days are Saturday and Sunday. The times aren't specific, but I trust we all know that mostly evenings/afternoon is the peak time for everyone's activity.
I'm going to hold a group-rp with myself present Saturday [May 14th], hopefully at 4pm my time [which is GMT -6, or USA CST]. Let's ponder ideas for the rp between now and then--how our chars will feel, or behave, as they're in Voodoo's lands! Or for me, who I should use LOLOL. I can't rp both Vahn and Lat at the same time.
For older members, my guess is they'll be reminiscing over their old times in Voodoo, and how far they've walked since those days. For new members, they'll probably just be keen on having fun. x3
EDIT: We're using Memorial Cave for the rp. 8D They have NOT found Naju Grasslands.

If you were on my forum, then I would've never gotten mad at you, Liy. I think the bossy teens that try to take over everything on here need to understand that there are young children on her and pre-teens. They also need to understand how these young kids act and try not to be so rude about it.
You are all going to come across desperate people on here, and depending on their age, there is no reason to get mad, snappy, or bossy. :)
I'm not a kid, I'm 18, but I fully understand why you acted the way you did. I know I don't have as much say as FJ and WG, but I can at least express my opinion. Ttfn. :3
Also, Liy, if these guys are too harsh on you and don't understand your thoughts and feelings, then don't even bother with them. Find a group a little less younger and less... harsh on young kids. I am honestly offended of how they treated you, because you are young and they don't completely get that young people will basically do what they feel is best. Even if that means by talking back and being annoying. :P I can tell you are young because of the way you talk and your age is 12 on your profile. :) There is nothing wrong with being imature at that age. Again, I see that as helpful. I 'don't think' FJ meant any harm when she questioned whether you were young or a troll, as, to be honest, you 'could' of been. There are a lot of trolls about nowadays. She could've said you must be some sort of troll and left it as that, but... she didn't. <:

It seems to have helped Liyese. I mean, she came back with fluent typing, and appears better-presented.
You'll realize I have a lack of empathy in most cases or I have a social awkwardness. This means I can't joke like most people can, I sound angry or rude when I am not, or don't intend, to be.
I'm a work in progress, myself.
But I'm not offended, Sabi, so don't worry about that on my end. I met Liyese ingame once [Kelsie/WalterGirl was there too], and she made a point to ask why Voodoo was so popular [slightly hinting that it shouldn't be], and claimed IT must have been better than FH, and said she'd never played IT. I've heard a lot of people saying that--people who have never played IT. This means I'm reserved with her. I don't want stuff to dampen the mood like that.
And Soul is right about the troll thing. There are many--my ex-boyfriend is one. If there's uncertainty in my mind, I will speak about it, and that's why we're not push overs.
I was bullied for years and years, and I've realized one thing that helps people. Point them where to go, and slap them on the back, telling them to toughen up/wise up/mature. It helps most people, not all, but most.
She's twelve? I see. Again, there's no disrespect intended for the age--but I stand by what I said. When someone points out problems, even if it's rude and cruel, there's always a possibility to improve the issues if the direction is pointed out to them, or they find their own way.
And I did suggest a place for her to receive help. So telling her she should find friendlier people was already stated, with a specific place.
But, while I'm not offended, I am a bit hurt. Hurt because once more, I'm misunderstood because I'm no-nonsense, within a group I felt comfortable within.

Okay, news. No rp thread will be made, as we're encouraging rping ingame. We're using Voodoo's map, due to plot reasons.
RP days are Saturday and Sunday. The times aren't specific, but I trust we all know that mostly evenings/afternoon is the peak time for everyone's activity.
I'm going to hold a group-rp with myself present Saturday [May 14th], hopefully at 4pm my time [which is GMT -6, or USA CST]. Let's ponder ideas for the rp between now and then--how our chars will feel, or behave, as they're in Voodoo's lands! Or for me, who I should use LOLOL. I can't rp both Vahn and Lat at the same time.
For older members, my guess is they'll be reminiscing over their old times in Voodoo, and how far they've walked since those days. For new members, they'll probably just be keen on having fun. x3
EDIT: We're using Memorial Cave for the rp. 8D They have NOT found Naju Grasslands.

Due to the new patch update, I can no longer go into any custom made maps until they are re-exported. To read more about the patch, please go here. Anyway, LOL. So I heard a suggestion about non-rp meetings; ones where we just group up. School is going to be out for the summer soon--or for me, forever!--and I'd like to hear suggestions over when we should hold one. If it'd be a weekly thing, every other week, or simply just chosen days, ect. I just know I can't hold one this week and hope to attend since I have award ceremonies to do, some last-moment schoolwork, and other stressful stuff. I'm sorry for my absence; I had award ceremonies at my normal school and career school to attend. I was drained after them, and there's drama afloat irl and through the forums I'm on, so I'm just a bit down.

Another note; all Najurean females are supposed to have mane tufts exactly like what Tempestade has--it's gotta be the color of their tail, and cannot be a cheek tuft. I didn't notice the rule until Bleedee pointed it out; please change that and send me a new picture of your characters. In about a week, those who haven't will be pm'd with a reminder.
For those having trouble exporting their own stuff--in your .objects, be SURE that nothing unused is in there. It has a habit of failing to export due to that.
And if anyone needs a tester for their maps, feel free to contact me. If you have an msn we'll trade our msns and work on fixing the errors sometime when we're both online.

When she aprouched him and called his name her dad said something to her:
"Run, run my child, escape from this lands and find yourself a pride who is worth to have you, a pride wha..." These where his last words before he let his last breath.
After this Purity did what her dad asked and looked for a pride till she found this one... hoping this is the pride her dad meant.
Sometimes she can talk you think she is older then she looks like , but she is a teen. Everythign she can say she learned form her dad.

Cheek Tufts and Cheek Manes differ in color textures. Newcomers are to have them I believe, because of how genetics work. I'm bringing Helel back--she was from when Najuru had just formed, and she looks sweet with the cheek mane, so I suggest just playing around with colors. Think of it as a new version of IT's rule of manes and inner ears being the same.

I hate to sound harsh, but, if the fix doesn't work, then you're kinda screwed. I'm not passing out the .map. I don't want my hard work edited or butchered. FH still has issues and bugs, and untill they can truly fix them ALL, some of you may not be able to access grasslands. I mean.. I say this because ive done everything possible except give you the .map and even then it might not fix it.
If you get Bad Token, I can't do anything about it. Sorry.
If you are getting an OGRE Exception error, let me know what it is and I'll try to figure it out for you.

To free your character of the got-eaten glitch, just remove the Naju folder and all the Naju exports and Home Point your character out.

I've never had issues with maps before. I'll keep tinkering with the files and see if it fixes anything. The temple works fine, as does the marsh. I think it may just have to do with extra unneeded files in the grasslands. I'm going to tinker, and see if it fixes anything. I has similar problem with one of my maps before.

We use Memorial Tomb currently. There's a portal to it in Atoza, inside a square temple to the far south in the map. Usually we rp on Saturdays or Sundays; if you feel like no one has been popping online, pm around and see if you can nab a couple people. c:

But a nice RP tip, try not to repeat certain words like 'the antelope', occasionally replace it with 'it' or something that describes it like 'the prey', also 'Shade' replaced frequently with 'she' or 'the lioness' or anything you can thing of ;3 also creatively combining sentences is also good to prevent that 83

Anyway; Tatanka is a rank that is earned, not given. Shade would start out as two ranks directly below that [as a Witaya], since she's a teenager. Also, she needs to have Cheek Mane that is the same color as the tail, as is stated clearly in the species rules. Najureans are not African lions; their physiology is different.

I'd say, at this point, maybe it's better off let go. Because I don't want to deal with this torture of pessimism about this, and FH, and ITr. I don't need it, and it seems like that's all Blade has when it concerns this pride.

I'll be honest in saying roleplaying hasn't been of my interest lately any more; too much IC crap going into OOC.
I'll also be honest in agreeing that maybe Najuru maybe be "better off to let go." It WAS fun for a while, and I still have fond memories; if we prolong this, when others seem disinterested, including myself -- I won't make up an excuse for me not showing activity -- could our roleplays suffer with this also? The lack of heart and passion in our writing, I believe, shows in every word. That is, IF we can even muster a word into a post if we don't have the heart to be there.
Of course, this is just how I view it at the moment when it's late (In other words, I'm speaking for myself here, not saying everyone else feels the same, it's just how I'm 'viewing the situation'). This might just me be rambling, in fact I'm pretty sure it is. But...
Another thing that comes to attention, and I believe this should be mentioned, as, I believe, this may also be affecting the pride; (At least in-game, anyway. This is an in-game pride, after all.) the atmosphere of FH in general.
I don't know about you guys, but I hardly ever go on FH now. Don't like it, won't like it. I'll be lying if I said I didn't hold a grudge to this game, but that's not truly the problem. I don't feel I have to say what is the main problem for FH, so I shan't. I'll be damned if I wasn't the only one with the same issue.
If I go onto a game where, to be frank, I somewhat loathe, to roleplay, which could be done on the forum or on MSN, my muse ultimately rests itself in peace.
Again, this post may have just me been rambling nonsense, but again, it's late, this is just my two cents. Or half a cent. Whichever suits.

This 'I hate FH' BS is starting to piss me off. Its also a piss poor excuse. If I put this on ITr itd be the SAME thing.
To quote a friend, a very close friend, 'We joined IT to RP, not to /join IT/ or /IT/. Same thing with Feral Heart.
Why should the game matter? It's the RP that strengthen ties to friends and characters. Was IT perfectly asthtetic? You had box faced wolves, yet people STILL RPed them. So whats the big freaking deal abou FH? Theres nothing.
We have our own maps, you can permanently turn off the arrival spam, so whats the problem? That you just cant let go of IT. Are you guys THAT material that youd choose a GAME over friends simply b/c you 'missed it' or it 'looked better to me'?

And, whether it's a "piss poor excuse" seemingly to you, it is a fact to me. Atmosphere is a huge deal for me.
I don't care about the graphics or design, just the "feel of the game", again I mentioned about roleplaying on a forum or MSN, at least that way the pride doesn't 'die' fully. ^^
Another thing, however; don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to say "Screw the game, just rp on the forum/msn", I'm just giving, although not really giving, moreso reminding, that there are other ways in roleplaying. Just as those find it easier to roleplay in-game, there are those who find it easier to roleplay, uh, unin-game? Of course, I remind myself this is a in-game pride, hmhm. Either way, I have been in-game, and no one seems to be online. Even on the "set-dates when we're supposed to roleplay", I don't find people there, including yourself. (Not that I'm saying anything about that really... or anythig mean about it. I mean.)
Also, I'd also like to get this across; "Choosing a game over friends", No, just no. I'm peronally not 'choosing a game over friends'. There's only two people in this pride that I also talk to on MSN. There are those who just find it so damn DIFFICULT to get in-game and roleplay. There are other methods of keeping a friendship then roleplaying.
I'll be honest in saying I find that somewhat offensive to be called a 'material over games and friendship'. Even if I'm not confident, I try to be there for my friends when they need me. Not just for some story-telling and listening.

As you said, this is an in-game pride, mhm. I find out that in-game just isn't for me~! So whether this pride stays or goes, I suppose that I shall also, leave. I'm beating down my insecurities here and directly saying what I feel, please understand. ^^
Perhaps there is one thing for me to confess, although it's not truly a crime, I believe. "I pretty much stayed with Najuru just to keep in-touch with everyone. Not to really roleplay. To just leave for me would seem like a traiterous thing to do, so I shan't."

Well to once again agree with Soul...I've never been a big in-game rper but I did it none the less to not dissapoint others, but sometimes I simply never get the time to actually get in-game because of real life stuff.
& for the record, I find it very offensive to be labled by you Blade as a 'material person who chooses game over friendship' It's like you know absolutely nothing about me.
Oh & a tip that would of made Najuru still strong, Taking a leaf out of Voodoo's book & allowing forum rp aswell as in-game rp to give those with limited free time more options to beable to rp.
That is about all I can say without getting offensive, since if I spoke my mind at this time, the content of my reply would gurentee a ban from the forum.

I'm going to finally speak, since it seems like I can't do much else than be a mediator like always.
I was the one who said that we joined IT for a game to rp on, not for /IT/.
Also. As simply as I can say this:
I don't even see what's so wrong about FH, and why everyone's so antsy about AK. What happened to rping? Why are we wasting our time with politics? Why do we need to find the best place to rp, and not just have fun? I'm an atmospheric rper too, but really. We have to step outside our comfort bubble sometimes. We might be surprised by what we find.
So many of Najuru's old upper brass, the founding members, are gone, or don't seem to care. Or, fall out because of their view on roleplaying. All I can say is.... what the he11 happened...?
I can only do so much on my own, and I went far beyond my own bubble for Najuru. Tried, like Blade has. My outburst up a few posts was anger at the sudden pessimism, because I /just/ got some air cleared with an old friend that some drama went down with, and I wanted to be /happy/ for a day. Because if anyone felt how much my heart hurt of all of it, they'd probably feel broken. And believe me... I am broken, inside. I don't need to explain why, because I'd be going on all day. And someone would just go "You're so self-absorbed".
So, congratulations guys. I now have a solid reason for turning my back on Najuru. Hope you're happy, and have a very nice day. Because I know I won't.
All the work we did, all the friendship, all the moments... they have all come down to this? Have we really forgotten so much? Yes, I suppose we have. So now I play Russian Roulette with my words, waiting with anxiety that someone will say something rude back, to push me over the edge. And why do I spout nonesense? I don't know. Maybe that it'll do some good, though even I see what little it can do.
This is why Najuru deserves to finally rest.
Because the members will never come together, like the old days. The old days we yearn for, so much that we can't even look past them. Pathetic creatures of habit; all of us.

I joined Voodoo to get friends, then lo and behold; out popped Najuru! If Najuru ends, I won't lie and say I'm in agonizing despair. I haven't role played my characters involved with Najuru in a good two plus months. I haven't visited this thread in more than four weeks. I'm not a dedicated member, because there's nothing here to keep me excited. I'm not saying every chick in the pride has to get raped or something for me to like it again, because that'll just take us back to square one - of despair and doom and self-centered plots.
I bet that didn't make sense.

And Najuru would have to do a lot to live up to those memories.
Maybe that's what we need to focus on, mere OOC meetings together in game. Voodoo didn't role play quite often; we just socializied... and we had a blast.

Najuru was created because Voodoo's leaders were never on TO rp and nothing ever happened. Then When Allie left and passed me the pride, I tried hard to bring it back up. I was scorned for my efforts, because I was 'doing it wrong' in her eyes so we got together and Created Najuru so that we could be more lax with the rules.
If you all remember, If we Stayed Voodoo, Aella would have had to kill her first litter.

RP Sample: Uhai stalked the savannah alongside her sister as their eyes searched to sate the hunger that clawed at their stomachs. Predatory instincts led the feline to a small herd of impala. With the prey few in the past months the female would hold no hesitation in her stride before crouching below the grass. Positioning self where she could await a foolish individual of the herd to stray too near the awaiting females huntress kept as still as was possible. Watching carefully she noticed as one lingered behind when the rest wandered away. When the moment was right Uhai leapt from hiding straight at the straggler. Aim was to shock it into bolting away from her and toward dear sibling. As sister sprang from the grass and caught hold of the animal by a front limb toppling it Uhai headed straight for the neck to cut off its air supply and end its existence.(sorry its so short its extremely late here)
Oh and one question. Should i apply to play a Najurean also?.
