Why can't I make a gosh darned preset?!  >:(

I mean, I have them but this keeps popping up:

I'm not an expert on Presets, but did you use Paint to make this? I thought you should use GIMP to make them.

You don't open a material file in the program. You create a new .jpeg or .png file and paint, using the UV maps as guidelines.

A material file is just the coding on the preset. It doesn't get opened in an image program. It can be opened in notepad though.

Also, next time you need help with something, it might make it easier if you make the title of the thread what your problem is. Like, "Need help with Presets!" Or something along the lines of that.
People won't always check the topic if your the name of it doesn't describe what you need help with. And if you describe it, you're more likely to get people who are familiar with the subject to give you feedback :3
