Title: Goldchocobo's Howl and Roar Mod

No offence to any of the Wonderful FH mods and staff, but I thought the Howl and Roar could use a little sound improvement. so I delved into my archive of animal sounds- used to usually mix and for future animational purpouses, and I found two great sounds- an artic wolf howl and a lion roar/call- I edited them slightly so they would time with the animations of both feline and canine modles- and this is the result:

remember to make a back-up copy of your current Howl/Roar and save them in a different location. when I can, or know how to- or even try to, I'll try and make it so that you call out a veriety of pitches and such- but I can't find the where the actions are in any CFG file. any way- hope you enjoy them ^^
and remember- this changes all the howls/roars in your game, not just yours... :)

Final Note- the wolf howl does sound strange if you listen to it straight on, but in-game it sounds fine.

why is the roar so weird? o.0 it's a genuine lion roar.. LION roar- what most people think of as lion roars are actually tiger, so- since this game (though partially) is based around the lion king- I changed the 'tiger' roar to a real lion roar :/ nothing strange about that....

OMG that's brilliant! <3 it! YOUR brilliant. gr8 job, but the wolf howl has some background noise. Is it possible to cut that? other than that, keep up being awesome

Lions don't technically roar, they bellow. Exactly the sound that's in the video. Though it's odd in combination with the animation. XD

I tried... but it's an actual recording of a wolf howl- outside. not a fake, and not in a studio. but I'll try again....

what's wrong with the animation o_O I worked hard timeing it perfectly to when the creatures opened and closed their mouths or when I thought the sound would be produced or stop... :/

lmao now THATS a lion roar. idk why people keep thinkin thats not how they sound xD thats a pretty basic territory mark call o3o

I added a new Wolf sound and changed the expressions when howling and roaring to make them look a lil' more realistic.

Trying to get the roar mod if that's ok. But my files are converted to MP3, so when I save the document it's saved as a rar. Am I doing something wrong or could it be possible if I could grab the roar mod as an MP3 file? :)

You open the RAR file with 7Zip or WinRAR.
It's an old file of mine and I prefer to use zips now. but you are still able to use it if you can get WINRAR or 7Zip
