So today I downloaded a few meshes from Hammy and LemonLollipops.
I followed the instructions, putting the files into my_objects and went to object maker to put them in.
I typed in both the mesh and material files correctly, having the folder open next to the game for reference.
I even typed in the file types after the names.
I then press Add New and it says the mesh wasn't found.
I move around the files in different places in the object folder, but still, the mesh file is not found by the game.
Anyone else having this problem or is it just me being stupid?
Any ideas of what could be done?

Just type the mesh name, like 'seaweed.mesh' and click add new. Don't type in the material file.

I restart each time.
I keep the my_objects folder open to check spelling and lettering.
That line is definatley there.
And how would I do that?

to execute as administrator:
Right click to ferehearth.exe and clic in Run as administrator.

i believe you have windows vista or 7, maybe windows is blocking changes to program files, i'm not sure, i have never used windows vista nor 7, but i had heard this by some people.
if doesn't work, i have no more ideas.

I ran it as an administrator and it still does not work.
I Do use Windows 7 but I also make presets and maps.
I don't know why this is happening...

Try placing the mesh file in the "models" folder.
C:\FeralHeart\media\models

Wow.. I had it in FeralHeart\Objects\my_objects.
I just needed to put it in FeralHeart\media\objects\my_objects...
haaaa...
well, that's solved. Yay!
