~Welcome to the Lands of Leran~
A not-so realitic Lion Roleplay.

:PLOT:

In a land long since tormented by War, the Lemerian Pride resides.
Lead by King Lozic-- recently appointed after the mysterious disappearance of his father and mother-- they enjoy unprecedented peace....
At least during the day.
During the night, Pride members have reported hearing the roars of their lost loved ones, yearning for them to leave the Pride's land and venture out into the darkness... what could it mean?

Although, amidst this Chaos, there is a glimmer of hope... they know it. But are any of them brave enough to venture into the spirit's domain and seek out answers?

There are no 'small' parts in this Pride! Even cubs and elders play a very important role...

:RANKS AND AGES:
CUB:
Required to stay in the Pride's Den and surrounding area; must have an supervisor/caretaker at all times. If born with markings, the cub is taken to the Spiritual Lands to be judged. This tradition has been waning with the coming of the Night Snatching.

8 Months: (Lereer):
1/2 the size of adults, (3/4's size if large,) and currently learning how to preform as a normal Pride member. The King and his advisors choose his/her path from the following...

Female Roles
Scout:
Honored Hunter; leads the other hunters during outings.**
Elite Prowler:
The most skilled scout of the Pride; all other, lower scouts report to her. Males find it humiliating to have her as their superior. **

CubWatcher:
Those who enjoy taking care of the younger members of the Pride. Often lead cubs out on their first outings and take care of all expecting female lionesses.

CubSeeker:
 A specialized Cubwatcher, she has an inept sense when it comes to special cubs. She seeks out those with special talents and often recommends professions they might do well in to the King. She's also responsible for all the duties of a normal CubWatcher.**

High Watcher:
The one and only CubWatcher that takes care of the Queen's cubs. Almost like a second mother to them. Takes on the duties of a normal Cubwatcher if there are no Royal cubs... **

Rallier:
A Lioness fit for war! Chosen by the King's Gaurd.

Guard:
Those that go along with patrols and hunting parties to take care of any trouble that may show up.

Sentry:
 An honored guard; leads the others on missions assigned to them by the Royal Line.

Elite Pouncer:
The most skilled guard in the entire Pride. The identity of this member is not widely known, but he leads the Sentries on top-secret missions for the Royal Line. His only confident is the King himself. **

Harbinger:
The one charged with the execution of disloyal and dangerous exiles or intruders. Must be chosen by the spirits; if not, the execution is considered murder. Not a widely accepted job.

Rallier:
A lion fit for war! In times of trouble, the Rallier will take over the pride in absence of the King or Queen.**

Both

Hunter:
One who fetches food and supplies for the Pride. Many members start as hunters.

Starspeaker:
Those who interpret signs sent by the spirits. Usually light in color.

Shaone:
 Those you see when you've been injured. They normally have a variety of remedies!
 

Ballast:
A Lion or Lioness born with the gift of warding; it allows them to banish evil and avert the eyes of misfortune. Sometimes this gift lies dormant for a long while... All Ballast's are born with white eyes, even though they may change as they grow older. **
Tsallab:
One who draws in negativity; always born with black eyes or a gray variation. Can be cured with the sacrifice of a Ballast.**

KEY: ** = Must be earned/ asked of you.
**= EXCEEDINGLY rare.

RANKS CONTINUED

Teenager: (One Year.)
You have been trained in the way of your profession and start working without a mentor.

Young Adult: (One year six months.)
You may begin mentoring a younger member of the Pride. Eligible for minor promotions.

Full Adult: (2-9 Years.)
You may mentor younger members of the pride and are eligible for larger promotions. May have cubs.

Older Adult: (10-13 Years)
You are quite skilled by this point. Still may have cubs.

Elder: (14-16 Years)
You're at the end of your days; may no longer have cubs. You are no longer required to preform your duties and enter a type of 'retirement.' [

No detailed gore/blood/inappropriate scenes.

Please reply with your Feralheart username, Character name, charcter description (As per RP rankings and roles... you can automatically be anything without a double red or green asterisk.) And a short biography of the character. (Or long; it won't matter!) If you're a cub, try to find parents... if you have none, that's alright!
Also, remember that if your character has distinct markings; (I.E, a white lion with bright red stripes,) that means he/she is going to be taken to the spirits for judgement!

Description: A light gray speckled lioness with dark brown eyes. She usually wears a smile.
Rank: Hunter; wants to be a Scout.
Bio: Was born and raised in the Pride. She's loyal and shows no real interest of what lies beyond the next grassy knoll... but has been caught more than once napping on the river's beach! She has no cubs, and her parents are still comfortably enjoying their lives as Adults.
Special Qualities: Has rather strong back legs; is good at climbing trees.

As far as 'powers' go, you must ask for permission! I allow MILD powers, like rapid healing, (not from a life threatening injury,) or a basic 'green paw'. Please ask in your application!

Also, this Roleplay will take place on a private, custom map.

Age: Teenager
Description: A pale yellow colored female lioness with white siamese body markings, and fading white stripes on her tail. The area around her eyes is white as well, and her eyes themselves are golden yellow.
Rank: Hunter; wouldn't mind being a Scout.
Bio: She was born in another pride, and her mother loved her more than life itself. However, the pride had abandoned them and left them to die. A few months later, when scavenging for a meal, a lone lion had come across them, and her mother died while trying to protect her. Semira got away safely, but had to fend for herself the rest of the time. She still has nightmares.
Special Qualities: Long legs; very good at running.

Description: A dusty gray body with white under pelt, he has dark gray blue swirls on his face and a stripe that stops at the base of his tail after starting from his shoulders. he has no mane and is incapable of growing one due to his genetics. Has grass green eyes.
Rank: Hunter
Bio: Zen is a half lion half puma hybrid feline however he is one of the only ones in the pride who knows it. His father is a Puma and his mother a white lioness who was a part of the pride before falling to an illness shortly after cubing 3 unhealthy young, Zen being the only one to survive. Zen is quiet and keeps to himself though he is loyal he sometimes cant help but go off on his own without telling any other pride members when he does this it is usually dawn or dusk and he can be found looking out at the sky or across the land. He has a soft spot for elders over cubs and would much rather listen to them ramble about the pride's problems and past than be bothered by the prides cubs. Overall Zen is a laid back male who wants nothing more than to be lost in thought.
Special Qualities: Sturdy build; father being a puma he is more sturdy when it comes to traveling in harsh climates.

Name: Taliah (female)
Username: Taryn
Age: Full Adult (3 years)
Description: A tall, well built lioness with black fur.  She has aqua colored eyes, and the fur around them is a deep shade of purple.  She has unusual cream colored swirl markings all over her body, with a cream stomach and toes.  The tip of her tail is brown.
Rank: Hunter
Bio: Taliah was born in the pride, but when her parents had a falling out with one of their superior they took their cubs and left.  Even though she had very odd, and special, markings, she was never taken to see the spirits, and therefore has not yet been blessed by them.  She and her family returned when she was a teenager.  She is a wise lioness, and gives others advice when they need it.  She is a highly skilled hunter, and in her spare time she loves to spar and train to better hone her skills.  She has a slow temper, and isn't easily angered.  She's been trying to prove herself ever since they returned to the pride, to make up for her parents misgivings.
Special Qualities: Extremely skilled fighter due to her build, fast runner, strong swimmer

Name: Nyoka (Male)

Age: Cub (5 Months)
Description: A very vividly colored cub. Orange fur with blazing red mane and smoky gray underfur, with stormy gray eyes. Has strange diamondback rattlesnake patterns on face, back and tail.
Bio: Nyoka is proving to be a very interesting cub. His bright, unusual markings indicate he might be a starspeaker, but the fact that he was born with stormy gray eyes instead of blue eyes (IRL cubs are always born with blue eyes and change over time) suggests he might be a Tsallab. Nyoka is always out exploring and getting into trouble, but he chooses to cause mischief and play pranks; trouble isn't drawn to him wether he likes it or not like in an average Tsallab. He also looks up at the stars every night, naming certain stars and predicting the near future based on which stars appear. He isn't right very often, but when he is the current Starspeaker notes Nyoka's prediction. He is aware of his situation and believes he should be taken to the spirits as soon as possible, as to not let valuable potential slip away. He seems to be unaffected by the fact he was born with gray eyes and it is possible he is a Tsallab, when many other lions would die of shock and misery or something in the same situation.
Special Qualities: Not much, except he is very adept at annoying other lions and taunting enemies into making foolish decisions.

And, if it's okay, could Nyoka be snatched or something and return four years later being something in between mortal and immortal? If you say no, I understand. It is a bit big of a power to ask. If you say yes, I would preferrably offer more details in RP. I understand if you say no to Nyoka being a bit of a Tsallab. It could be just a prophecy of his future if he turns not-so-very-mortal.

Age: Young Adult.
Rank: Rallier.
Description: Rouge is a darker colored lioness, with many scars scattering her body. She has piercing blue eyes that are strange for darker lions.
Bio: When Rouge was born her family hated her for her "odd" colored pelt. Before being outcast her family attacked her, leaving Rouge barely alive and muted for life (or so she thinks XD). She has spent most of her life alone and is very nervous around other lions. Rouge is very self concious of her scars and is afraid that other people will see her as intimidating or scary.

Bio: Is offten misstaken for a Young adult, shes small, bright and beatiful. she loves having nice, friendly friends and loves to run around. but she is great at listening and has grown into a great hunter and alwayse will be. shes very fit and great at hunting, alwayse brings back plenty of prey when going hunting.
