Other Mods/Creations / Turtlex's Literal Sound Mod
« on: August 13, 2015, 12:27:31 am »
Are the sounds in Feralheart just too realistic for you? Has the music just gotten dull and boring? WELL LOOK NO FURTHER

The Literal Sound Mod replaces all of those realistic noises with noises that tell you exactly what they are! Why have a little 'boop' noise when you click when it can literally tell you the word 'click'? Why have the sound of running on grass when it can literally say 'run'? Download it, go into a crowded area, and listen to the beauty unfold.

The Literal Sound Mod is just something I was working on a while ago and decided to remake. It just includes some stupid funny sounds and music instead of the old ones. It also says some sorta funny things in between some of the sounds. Everything was made with a text-to-speech thing-a-ma-bob.

NOTE: Backup your original music and sound files before installing this! These might get annoying and you'll want to switch back.

Forum Games / Last Game You've Played
« on: August 03, 2015, 02:43:50 am »
Inspired by the games Last show you watched by Tullile and What song are you listening to? by Pepperpuppy.

All you do is post the last game you've played (excluding forum games on here). This could be a video game, board game, card game, some truth or dare type of thing with friends, etc.

Let's begin!

Roller Coaster Tycoon 3.

Game Discussion / Feralheart, Feral Heart, Feral-Heart
« on: August 02, 2015, 02:43:24 am »
Just a small discussion I thought of. I've seen Feralheart typed a lot of different ways. Mostly Feralheart (one word), Feral-Heart (separated by a dash),  and Feral Heart (two words). I believe all of them are technically correct, but what do you refer to it as?

I always say Feralheart as one word with 'heart' lowercase. Sometimes I say FeralHeart with a capitalized 'Heart', but I usually say Feralheart. That's just what I'm used to. So, what do you say? Hopefully what I'm asking makes sense xD

Request/Find Meshes / Default Meshes
« on: July 26, 2015, 06:01:54 am »
Hello! I know that someone had made a pack including all the default meshes that come with the game a while ago (just with all of them put into .OBJECT packs so you wouldn't have to manually put them in object packs yourself) but since then I have not been able to find it.

I know that I can just type all of the default meshes into object maker myself, but I'm lazy and that pack had organized them all pretty nicely. Does anyone have a link to this? I believe it was on this forum but I haven't been able to find it, does anyone know if it was deleted or locked or anything?

Thank you to anybody who can help! <3

The Broken Fence

There was a small farm located out in the countryside. A variety of animals lived there happily, the human family taking great care of them. The humans were kind towards them, they gave the creatures plenty of space to roam, and were always in the barn in the morning with food in hand. The farm animals were all happy with their lives, and were completely dependent on that family, losing all natural instincts that would aid them in the wild. One stormy day, disaster struck.

A tornado ripped through the land, killing the humans and damaging the rest of the farm. All surviving animals are now being forced out of their home into the wilderness, with no human hands to help them, feed them, or care for them. You are one of those animals. Will you survive the deadly wilderness?

The farm is located on a hillside, with cornfields surrounding it on all sides. It has one large barn, a few different coops for the different types of birds, plenty of grazing spaces, and a few dog houses near the house. Bordering the cornfield is a large forest, filled with plenty of animals including wolves, bears, cougars, and more. The forest stretches a long way before becoming a crowded city.

Miscellaneous Tutorials / The Floof-O-Meter - A Guide
« on: July 06, 2015, 11:07:13 pm »
I've noticed a lot of people asking about the Floof-o-Meter, what it is, and what it does. I've decided to make this guide explaining as much as I can about it. Feel free to correct me on any of this or add on more information!

What is the Floof-o-Meter?

The Floof-o-Meter is a form of karma on the forum. Floofs/Nuzzles do not effect anything in-game or on the forum whatsoever!

Why and how do I 'floof/nuzzle' someone?

You can floof someone for any reason! They are usually given to someone who has helped you with a problem, someone who is overall helpful and kind towards the community, or someone who has made some sort of creation you like. Just remember, asking/begging for floofs will not get you them! Floofs are given to show gratitude, they are not a race.

In order to nuzzle/floof someone, you must first have at least 25 posts on the forum. Just find their miniprofile from a post they have made, and click "Nuzzle". You cannot nuzzle yourself, and you can only nuzzle a specific person once every 24 hours.

(Just using my second account for an example!)

Here's an example of a post.

The "Floof-o-Meter" lists how many floofs you have received. Clicking "Nuzzle" will give the user another floof. You cannot floof yourself and can only floof the same person once within 24 hours.

How do I get floofs?

To get floofs, just be an active, helpful, and productive member in the community! If you deserve a floof, you will get one eventually. Don't ask or beg for floofs, this may turn people away from the very idea of giving you one! And of course, remember that a small amount of floofs doesn't mean you or a member is unhelpful, or even that a large amount means that a member is helpful! Don't compare yourself to other people, just keep being helpful and friendly!

Can floofs be taken away/why do some users have negative floofs?

I was not around while this was still a thing, so correct me on anything if needed! A while ago, you could either 'bite' or 'nuzzle' someone. Biting took away floofs, and nuzzling added floofs. This feature was removed in order to promote positive behavior. Some users with lots of 'bites' left the forum during that time and still have a large amount of negative floofs---the record I've seen is -60 floofs! However, this doesn't neccesarily mean they were a bad person, some people had asked the community to 'bite' them, just to have some fun.

Hope this helps make the Floof-o-Meter a little clearer! I'm tired of saying 'floof' so much throughout this tutorial haha. If anyone asks about the Floof-o-Meter, feel free to send them to this post!

Art Gallery / Turtle's Art Stuff
« on: July 03, 2015, 05:46:50 am »
Decided to make a new art thread since I wanted to start with a fresh, clean thread.

So here's my arty-stuff

A lot of it's just crap i draw when im bored

Most of this should be ordered from newest to oldest within each spoiler.

Art of my Characters:

A headshot of my character Koldo. Mostly a test of shading and lighting. Pretty satisfied with this.

A quick drawing of my character Erymji the bird deer thing.

Drawing of my old TLK OC Hasira. I'd never drawn her before so I tried to give her a somewhat 'royal' look?

My characters Boone and Buckles arguing. Also includes a background whhaaaa

Edited version of an old picture

Recolored version of an old lineart of my character Tulivu.

A full body drawing of Turtle. I hate drawing fullbody pictures but I like how this turned out (despite the fact that the eyes scare me)

My character Ingi. I'm not too happy with how this turned out but eh it was just a test of styles.

A headshot of my character Rafej.

Withered Bonnie cause reasons

An old headshot of my character Turtle.

Yet another headshot of my old character Dyae. Test of drawing techniques.

Drawings for Others:

DarkkyTheCat's character, Inna.

Backgrounds:

The background of the Boone and Buckles picture since I'm proud of it

An unfinished background based on one of my FH maps.

Something I randomly drew.

The sky of the above picture, since I liked it and thought it looked purdy

A background of the elephant graveyard.

The first actual background thing I drew.

Might take requests sometime if people enjoy my art but last time I wasn't able to finish all the requests and I feel super guilty about that so I'm not going to right away. Well, hope you guys enjoyed looking at my art things. I haven't found a style I'm happy with yet so that's why everything looks so different xD

Game Help / Objects Aren't Appearing (Solved)
« on: July 03, 2015, 02:26:31 am »
I HAS MORE PROBLEMS

So I've been painfully working on some maps and decided to test them out in-game, but it appears that certain meshes aren't appearing.

It isn't the group problem. For one, they are in a new group and not the default groups, and two, for some reason while those meshes don't appear the other meshes in the group do.

If it makes a difference, I have NOT exported the maps yet and I have restarted my game already.

The two meshes that I realized disappeared are a rock Slab mesh and a custom cave mesh I made in Blender today.

IN-GAME:

MAP MAKER:

I'm not sure if the objects just won't appear until the maps are exported or not but if anybody has an explanation or solution to this thank you!
