Presets... the dreaded

I'm having difficulties with downloading my preset. A friend made it for me. You see, I'll download it, but something seems off right away. There's only one file and it just says preset55.rar
Is that abnormal in any way? So I'll paste it in my_presets, the third folder, then go to tools, preset maker, and go to preset 3. It isn't there. What do I do?

Tell your friend to give the original files of the preset, like make him/her copy the folder with the files and upload it to Mediafire or another file sharing site.
Then it should work for you. :3

Since it's a rar file, you'll need to have WinRaR to open it. I'm guessing the preset files would be in that rar file. You need to export the files that are in the rar file into your preset three folder (Or whatever number the material file says) and then of course check your preset out in the preset maker c:

A RAR file is alot like a ZIP file. .General. WinRaR will work but its paid. so try Peazip or something free!
