They do tend to have their funny side, which I enjoy greatly since their music and jokes have helped me through my dark times. You really can't be angry and watch them. (Though there are prolly a few who can)
But then again, I'm convinced the guys from SPG are just a bunch of kids. I mean, the puppet video. Yeah.

Your post has got me hooked to these guys and their band now. I also like how they have some sense of humor in the lyrics and everything. I'm officially a fan now.

Haha another one converted! Welcome to the fanmily.
While they have some jokingness to their songs, there are a few which have meaning. One that didn't really get public, since it's an old one, was a duet between David and Erin called "I Am Not Alone" They don't play t anymore since Erin left.
