Nuclear energy?

This is a touchy subject >.< But I just wanted to know something.

How do you feel about nuclear energy? It's a "clean", and almost limitless source of energy. The downside to this is nuclear waste and radiation, and in cases such as in Japan, recently, radiation can leak out and harm unborn children, basically all living things.

I feel bad about asking this ;w; But I'm always ranting about how nuclear energy isn't worth it, and because the harm it can do freaks me out so much...

I just wanted to know if anyone else feels the same?

well, the county that has been using it has been claimed to be far more advanced than , say for sample, America.

But sh-- happens unexpectedly as we can see o.o

in short - I guess it's worth it until the odds run against you - kinda like how prostitution can be worth it for a women( or man) to get lots of the money , until they AIDS or HIV for sample.
