Avarian Wild
The Avarian Wild is an odd creature. It is fairly rare and can only be found within the deciduous forests and high mountains. Unlike other creatures, they bare the same traits as other species.
An Avarian Wild's body is like that of a wolf. In fact, many would say it looks like a winged wolf with antlers.
It is often nocturnal depending on the population of predators within it's region. Although the Avarian Wild is quite a large creature it has predators of it's own that it must watch for.

Many of these predators, only prey upon the pups that these creatures bare throughout the year.
The Avarian Wild becomes fairly territorial once it reaches around 3 years old. As it's instinct to breed would have pushed it to leave it's pack. All males leave their pack around this age, going off to set up a territory of their own and start their own pack.
Males can become highly aggressive around this age, this would be why their are rarely more than one male of this age in a pack. When males meet each other, it's a constant fight over who is bigger and stronger. They would first do a light spar, and finding they measure up around the same. They would fight, sometimes to the death if that's what it takes.
The females are much different than the male of this species. They are more calm and get along with each other better. The only time a female may become aggressive is with strangers outside of the pack approaching the territory, or if another bothers her if she is nursing a litter.
Hunting is slightly easier for these creatures than it would be for others. Having access to the air and land gives more opportunity. They often hunt in small groups of 2 - 3 and fly over the land, searching for prey.
