Okay so unfortunately I can't run the game on my Mac (trust me I've tried but nothing works despite me having the latest patch) so I probably won't stick around as it's just too tedious.

Yeah, just looked at that thread and followed all the steps and having issues still so I've commented on it. Sad times haha.

Yep, I've uninstalled and reinstalled everything and have the same issues. I'm not sure if it's a script issue or what.

Unfortunately the closest I got to getting the game to work was with the FHunix.pol script, but it seems to be outdated because I get told to download the new patch when I get to the main menu screen of the game. I have all the latest programs and patch. So frustrating, I want to play this game so bad.  :-\

If you are updating from an old version, it may also be a good idea to remove old files from old versions of the game before doing an install  since the files may not always be replaced properly or the game might magically use the wrong ones, fh is touchy. xD

Yep :') I have PlayOnMac and xQuartz, but it just does the "download new patch" thing and I'm like heck. Yeah, maybe I'll try removing old files if I can see any.

Hey, I'm Amaranthe. Not after the band, someone took Amaranthine so I had to make do.
I somehow only just found this game, and have wanted to play something like this for years since WolfQuest didn't quite do it for me.
Now to try and get my game to actually work, rip.

When I try to log in to the game it says to download the new patch, but I did download the latest one? I'm confused. Did I somehow download an old one? I downloaded straight off the download page so I have no idea. Spent hours setting it up so I'm losing hope tbh
