The warrior slowed to a trot and eventually a halt as her packmate, Aaliya, came nearer. Nodding politely, Argenta waited for her packmate to reach the bottom of the slope with a slight, gentle smile.

(I'll start!)
Argenta bounded over the ice floes with light tread, the grays and silvers of her pelt blending well with the glaciers of ice and snow. Piercing green eyes sought the way ahead in the dark folds of night. The bright moonlight shone down on her dark gray back. Night was short here, and she always took full advantage of it. Her name, Argenta, meant silver. Silver was the lighter, more feathery light of the stars and moon, not the bright, gaudy, heavy golden light of the sun. Oh, day was nice, she knew that. But she preferred night more then any other time of day, especially when the moon was full. Like, tonight, for instance, with the moon in it's full splendor, this was the sort of night Argenta loved to run away, to get as far away from camp as possible in the night hours. The wind gusted ferociously and snow fell heavily, but Argenta didn't mind. Wild nights were her glory.
