Animal & Non Human Roleplays / The Whispering South Wind

Welcome to the land of the North! Many animals live in this wilderness: foxes, bears, mountain lions, wolves, various types of rodents and birds and others. They all inhabit and live in peace amongst each other, even prides, clans, and packs. However, the North has changed over the past few months and many birds have come with messages from the south. These messages include various threats that the Northern animals can not understand, maybe because the birds that replay these messages don't quite understand themselves. There are many rumors that something terrible will happen to the North and the wilderness that creates various homes for the animals living there, but the animals here think it is just a rumor. Could it be true? Could some odd force really be coming to destroy their homes?

Discussion Board / Feel the same way?

I don't mean to leave a depressing note but I just wanted to ask a question. If you had a best friend for years, someone you felt like you could trust, someone you would be there for and they would be there for you, wouldn't you expect them not to lie to you? I thought I had a best friend that I could rely on to always tell the truth but it turns out they were never telling the truth because ever since I met them they were lying to me. I seriously want to cry because they claimed they would never lie and I believed them... I'm a trusting person but my trust was shattered. I just want to know has this ever happened to anyone before? Where you thought you could trust someone but it turned out you couldn't?

Well, ignore the title... Well... Sorta? It is indeed a school for your OCs though there's almost no learning involved. Your OC just gets dropped off at a large building with different rooms and there's always tons to do! However, with OC's on the not so nice list that do want to come, there has to be officials who help maintain the balance in the halls and to help keep the peace, because of course, there might be fights. Well, what are you waiting for? Make a form and let your OC come in!
First off, rules.
1. Swearing is allowed but keep it PG-13 for younger audience.
2. Hate the character and not the player.
3. Characters that are dating? Things can happen, but keep it clean.
4. You can have up to 5 characters.
5. No power-playing
6. No, "My chars the best! I'm the strongest!"
7. There is no 7th rule.

"Welcome to paradise, our safe haven away from any trainers and poachers." The deep voice said "My name is Salamence, I'm one of the three leaders that protect our paradise. You may get a chance to meet the other two, but fear not, they will not harm you." He looked at the new arrival with interest "I've seen you come a long way, I'm sure you can't wait until you're able to relax a bit, but I must warn you. If you leave our pokemon paradise, you may encounter trainers and hunters, as well as evil pokemon with bad intentions. So be warned, and stay safe." He spread his wings and took off into the sky towards the paradise.
No legendary pokemon allowed, if you wish to bring one to the island of paradise temporarily, then ask first, but you may not make them one of your chars. Also, no powerplaying and no super high levels. You must grow and train to get stronger. lvl 40 max.
Welcome to pokemon paradise, a place that all pokemon enjoy and are able to relax in the cool breeze. We are home of over hundreds of different pokemon who have come to enjoy the safe haven. Description of pokemon paradise: There are 6 territories to explore and view: The forest, The mountains, The meadow, The village, The desert and the Ocean. The forest is rich in abundance of many different trees and a few rivers. There are many berries to pick off of bushes and trees here. There are also a few caves within the forest. Next to a huge waterfall is a really big cave known as RockSlide cave.
The mountains are at the very end of the forest, and they stretch upward. There is snow located within the mountains and a cave as well lies at the top. At the top of the largest mountain is a cabin where pokemon are free to come and go.
The meadow is in the middle of the forest and it makes good grass to graze on. The meadow is fairly large.
The village is a place where pokemon claim houses to live in, its stony and grassy and flat and its known as the town of paradise.It also has stores where you can trade items for other items you may need.
In the desert, there is no water at all, only sand that seems to stretch out endlessly, and a small oasis in the middle which a lot of pokemon claim is hard to fine. You can reach the desert near the beach and past the sandy beach, which leads to the ocean.
The ocean, which is past the beach is home to many sea creatures that don't surface and live on land. You may also swim in the ocean and if you can make it, there's a legend about an island that no one has found yet. Happy exploring.

Animal & Non Human Roleplays / ~Pack of Light~ & ~Pack of Dark~ [Open and Accepting Wolf rp]

For centuries, there had been wolves that lived in the ancient forest of Kehidupan. Most of wolves were incredibly special and had unique talents, although there were those who were normal wolves. The wolves with these talents either had a light or a dark spirit. The light spirit wolves were known as Cahaya's and usually had white colored fur. They were known for their peacefulness and laid back and calm moods. The dark spirit wolves were known as Gelap's and usually had darker fur. They were known for their fierceness in battle and their great determination. The Gelap's and Cahaya's always used their powers to help one another, and they became one, like Yin and Yang. They would always help each other out and remain in sync. Those were the peaceful days... Soon after their many years of friendship and peace, mysterious fights between the two breeds broke out. No one knew why they started, but they did and it couldn't be helped. Finally, after much prey lost because of their disputes and injuries gained, the leader of the Cahaya's and leader of the Gelap's decided that they had had enough. They each took their wolves and split the giant clan apart, each going a different direction. Neither clan left Kehidupan, and instead, established a territory that would hopefully suit each wolf and their needs. The Gelap's always found it unfair that their territory was less prey laden then the Cahaya clan. Because of this, territory disputes were breaking out and more battles as well. Even the clan leaders were beginning to hate the other, barely remembering the good times each used to have.
Many generations have passed since then and all of this had become nothing more then ancient myths and rumors because most believe that their clans had hated the other to begin with. The Cahaya clan had set their name as the Pack of Light, while the Gelap clan became the Pack of Dark.

These wolves have the power to run at the speed of light and cast blinding attacks.(Using specific powers are allowed, such as energy balls, light rays, etc.) Their fur may glow white when fighting. But be warned, their powers die down along with the setting sun. These wolves fear the dark and what lurks in the shadows, but they're not afraid to back down. They would rather solve issues with words and not violence but they will fight if needed.
Pack of Dark(Gelap's):
These wolves have the power to disappear in the night, and hide themselves in shadows. (Using specific powers are allowed, like shadow balls, dark rays, etc.)They like to surprise their enemy by using this tactic and are often night hunters. They try not to fear the light and its harsh rays, but they lose power when the sun rises and some of their techniques are incredibly weak during this time. They believe that fighting is the best solution to anything and won't hesitate to jump into battle.
Territories:
Pack of Light:
These wolves have open skies where sunshine breaks through the trees. They have the northern part of Kehidupan where it's plentiful in prey.
Pack of Dark:
These wolves prefer the protection of trees where there are plenty of shadows to lurk in. They take up the southern part of Kehidupan where it is more boggy and less prey, although there has always been enough to go around.
Other info:
There are pack laws that some decide to break, especially when it comes to friendship and mates. Sometimes a Gelap and Cahaya will fall in love and have pups. These pups(If none of them came out like their parents) are known as Merosakkan's, which meant tainted. These pups would sometimes(which was rare) have both their mom and dads power and feared neither light nor dark. They usually had a grey pelt or sometimes it would give them the pelt of both colors. Sometimes because of this mixed breeding, rare wolves were created where the wolf would resemble a Cahaya wolf, but have dark powers or resemble a Gelap wolf but have light powers. Many combos were made and depending on the leader of the pack, were sometimes accepted but treated as omegas, along with their parents.
Many would become loners or rogues and would be banished from the territories, so this law breaking was done in secret most of the time.
There are also normal wolves that are accepted into pack life because they would be a great asset since they don't share the normal weaknesses of the Gelap and Cahaya wolves.
If a Cahaya or Gelap were to have pups with a normal wolf, then they're pups may turn out either normal or sometimes the special breed with powers, although they're powers would be more dim. This was more commonly accepted and wasn't much a great deal as a Cahaya and Gelap being mates.
Rules
One liners are accepted, but try to be descriptive if you can.
Don't get lovey dovey in the rp, although some extent of romance can be allowed, just nothing graphic.
No one can have extraordinary powers that are "oh so great" Everyone has flaws.
No powerplaying.
Remember to have fun.
