I've found that the "aggressive-like" emotes like snarl and such, look a bit stupid in-game.
But this roar one seems to look more realistic if you ask meh.

Yesh, agreed.
The lower jaw on the canine becomes really thin 
Maybe if you made a better "howl" emote, that would look good on the canine, but not on the feline.
You're probably not going to bother doing that now....... I wouldn't.
