Snookie

'Gitchi Gitchi Ya ya Da da' Banged outside of the large abandoned house as Snookie stirred, frowning at the uncomfortable noise.
'Voulez-vous choucher avec moi, ce soir?' It continued, making Snookie grunt with confusion. "Please, shut up. Shut up with your fancy tunes." She begged silently as a slither of sunlight attempted to pierce through her eyelids. 'Mocca Chocolate ya ya' it pounded on and on until Snookie could not stand anymore. A low snarling growl emitted from her jowls as she lifted up her tired head up along with her elbows which she had tucked under her slim body.
'Gitchi Gitchi-'
"Puh-Please-e-e-e" She said in a moaning fashion, hoisting her puppy body from the rough wooden floor. Snookie was situated in the living room among many other's of the pack members. It was not early morning and she was not surprised to find dogs entering in and out of the house already. She took in a large inhale of air and exhaled heavily, the music seeming to be more muffled than usual. Snookie drew her tongue over her damp nose and slowly padded over to the window that was covert slightly by a very poor quality curtain which was easy to see through. Snookie heaved some energy into her legs and pounced up onto the window seal to see if she could spot the source of the sound. Her eye lids refused to open fully as they where stuck with sleep that crusted in the corner of her eye but all the same, she could still peer through the window. Outside was long, rather old looking car that seemed to vibrate to the music. She thought the sound must have been coming from in there. Inside was a girl and several female and male friends laughing and joking inside. Snookie snorted in displeasure and let loose a small yip, shuffling to get more comfortable on the sill. The music would have been quite enjoyable if it was not so loud. But soon enough as Snookie sat down for a long minute, the music started to fade away as the car drove off, honking and revving as it did so.  Snookie was disappointed with the trashy people who lived in the area and whom thought it would be okay to blare music in the morning, but what could she do? For she was just a puppy. Snookie licked her muzzle as she gingerly pounced down from the window, her dark eyes observing the pit bulls activities. Snookie always liked to think that she was in some way leader of this group but as she was not, she had to deal with everyday life as a normal stray. The pit bull bounded over towards Soul, the only male that seemed a little more relaxed than usual for their breed. The muscled dog was half asleep and half awake, for his eyes where half open but he was not paying attention to the activities around him. Snookie liked to play with Soul. He was the only one who's play fights never got out of hand. The four month old pup lay silently next to the male pit bull, not wanting to disturb his state of mind but it seemed he was still focused on his nearest surroundings and so he spoke a handsome hello to young Snookie, whom in return, wagged her tail and quietly yipped.

Soul

The morning was already speeding past when Soul had awoke. The male's eyes opened slowly as he peeled them back, reluctantly. The sight of several pit bulls and crosses met his tired eyes, but the one thing that did catch his attention was the loud, banging music. As he lifted his stocky head to the window, a thin curtain of silk blew gently as the breeze from the broken window danced with it, but from behind it was the silhouette of Snookie, the young pup he had encountered near some trash cans as he was inspecting some strange smelling cigarettes (He was pretty sure it was something the humans used to get high).Slowly sliding his tongue around his mouth to moisten it, Soul rested his head back down onto the cool, rough wood of the floor. His muscles seemed tense for a reason of which he did not know and all of his attempts to relax failed. H e was unsure of why, but there must have been a reason in the pack. Maybe a female was coming into heat, but he could smell nothing. He clenched his jaws tightly and closed his eyes, reminding himself of some relaxing times when he never had to be constantly vigilant for his life and others. His muscles started to ease as a dog brushed past him, Snookie, whom had been watching after the reckless car. He looked at the young dog once, observing her small body before Saying a low "Hello" to her. He smiled and drew his tongue over her closed eye as a sign of affection, a bond between two canines to show friendship.

Soul inhaled the warm, mid-morning air as it blustered through the broken window, circulating around the room and resting on the dogs coats before  more and more gusts blew in. Soul was in a very calm mood, for now, as morning's where very low-key, for the real action of the day began at mid-day, the time when all dogs where up and about, finding food, drinking water and playing together, but untill that time came, Soul was happy to be relaxed on the cool floor next to one of his companions.

High pitched yips and giggles erupted next to the sleeping mother, well she wasn't asleep anymore "Boys? What are you two doing?" she asked as she raised her sleepy head. Zeus and Bosco were romping around the old dusty room of an old abandoned house "Nothing mama!" The both yipped together.  Leia chuckled then stood up, once they were awake there was no going back to sleep "Can we go outside? We have been waiting all morning for you to wake up." Leia sighed "Yes but I have to look first." she looked down at them, both were at her paws, looking up at her. Zeus resembled their father while Bosco looked more like his grandmother. Zeus was black and white while Bosco was more of a butterscotch color with white, but they both had blue eyes. Neither of them resembled her at all, but she didn't mind, they were still her love bundles.

Leia gave them both soft licks across their bodies "You two can never stay clean." she chuckled while they nipped at her cheeks "Okay, let's go." Leia was lucky enough to find this house full of her breed, they all had been neglected just as she was. They all came here because they had nowhere else to go, no family, no one to love them..But here they all loved each other and helped one another, they were all family. The boys ran ahead of her, their tiny stubby paws thudded against the old wood flooring on the second floor. As Leia trotted past the many rooms she saw that many of their friends were still sleeping or just waking up. "Hurry mom! We want to chase the birds." They both bumped into one another playfully "Be careful going down those stairs!" she barked. Last week one of the other dogs fell down the stairs, he didn't make it. Leia carefully walked down the stairs while keeping an on eye her pups, who were still not even halfway down. "Bosco, wait here." she stopped him on the step "I'll carry you both down." She grabbed Zeus then trotted down the stairs then placed him on the ground floor "Thanks mom." Leia smiled then made her way back to Bosco, "Alrighty bosco, your turn." She carefully grabbed him by the scruff then walked down the stairs, placing him next to his brother "Okay, there we are." She smiled. Finally, they reached the back door "Let me check it out first, then you two can go play." They both nodded and patiently waited. Leia always made sure there wasn't some kid around the house that might take her puppies home with them, she would die if that ever happened. She pushed her head through the dog door and exited the old house and stepping paw on the back porch. The backyard was massive and was fenced in by a an old brown private fence. The morning sun shone down over the green and yellow grass, no human in sight "Okay boys, come out." she turned around only to be rushed by two tubby pups who were yipping away. "Look Zeus! Birds!" Bosco cheered as he stomped down the two steps leading to the grass with Zeus at his heels. Leia loved her life and everyone who was in it, she couldn't ask for a better family.

Her attention turned to the mother in the back yard whom had just came out with her pups, they were so adorable as she thought to herself, her tail wagged as a smile grew across her face at the young ones playing. Her gaze turned to their mother as she let out a bark as a "Hello" and gave her a smile, then a nod. Turning her head down to the chunk of meat and took her last bite, clearing the meat from her sight, then lifting to sit on her hunches, whilst she licked her lops her tongue touched her redish leather nose. Many cars and people passed the house but none stopped to investigate why the canines were outside the old, abandoned house.

And... It broke again....))

Felix sighed, and let the warm sun bathe on his brownish pelt. Suddenly, he heard the gentle tapping of paws of a dog, and the scent of unearthed meat. The bulky head turned to see Sasha, the friendly Pit Bull. He saw a chunk of meat in her jaw, and he wagged his tail slowly, and gently. His eyes gently lightened, as he hoped the food was for him. When Sasha dropped the meat in front of him, Felix just managed a tiny "Thanks," before diving into the meat.

When he finished Felix licked his lips, and watched Sasha turn her attention to the mother and her pups. Quickly, he laid down, not wanting to get any unwanted attention from the pups. They were known to be rather devious!

"Your welcome" Sasha replied as Felix thanked her , then giving him a smile as she looked at him laying down and realising he didn't want any attention from the pups then turning her brownish head to face the two tiny pups "Adorable aren't they" she smiled her tail wagged as she watched them play, a small smile grew across her face. The sun shone onto her pelt as many cars drove past the house.

Cav soon awoke from his nap, his eyes drooped as he looked around, trying to make out his surroundings. He sighed and padded out of the box, before padding to the front of the yard. He quietly squeezed through a hole under the porch. Under the porch lay cool dirt that cooled off Cav. E made a best and lazily payed down, quickly dozing off.
