Shibe let out a low sigh, shoulders and chest moving tiredly with the exhalation as he continued down his non-existent path downhill, ears twitching as branches and leaves caught on them and his fur. Licking his maw, the deep brown wolf shuddered as blood ran down his foreleg, remembering the somewhat lucky encounter.
He had managed to escape most of an angry bear's wrath, a few miles back, as he had stepped a paw too close to her cubs accidentally. Hence the wound. He adverted his gaze from the path, glancing around him idly. Shibe wondered, distantly, where all the wolf packs were. He had been traveling alone for months now after leaving his old pack up north, and he was currently looking for the rumored pack that had been south of his pack's territory. So far, no such sign of them.
