Changing Ezia's species to a Dire Wolf.



Ezia pulled herself up the slippery bank after being chased around by some mangy kitten who refused to catch his own prey. Her wet coat littered with mud was heavily tangled, making her running through the bushes rather painful and slow. Finally, she arrived to a more peaceful area of th forest, but there was a sight to see. A saber had jumped up on a log ad was carefully observing something behind her, most likely the fighting pair. Peeling her lips, Ezia sat down and raised one paw while her goldenrod eyes were narrowed at the giant feline. She didn't want a fight after running so much.

The sudden sounds of thudding paws and bushes rustling caused her head to turn, seeing a figure dart through the forest. Shrugging she let out a huff and turned back towards the fighting pair, Nylas head tilted to the site. An unfamiliar smell then wafting into her snout, turning she watched as a Dire remained behind her with a snarl about to erupt. The large feline curled her lips revealing more of her large fangs, a growl erupting from the faes mouth as she continued to eye the wolf.

Mentu

The brute let out a roar of pain as the large male dire suddenly latched its powerful jaws down on his back. Ripping his attention away from the female, he jerked his head around in a vain attempt at snagging hold of any part of the brute and tear him off- but to no avail. The dire's teeth sunk dangerously close to Mentu's spinal column, an attack that he knew could end in paralysis and eventually death. Rearing on his hind legs, he brought his front paws down to the earth with a hard thud like a rodeo horse, ducking his head with the hopes that the sudden move would at least cause the Dire's body to flip over head which would allow a better angle for his own attack. However- the female's quick dive at his front legs shattered his concentration, taking him off guard. Luckily, he staggered to remain on his paws, and simply gave the fae a hard swat with his clawed forepaw, most of his focus centered on the brute latched to his backside.

Lavani

After a brief moment of examining the sabertooth, Lavani let out a huff and straightened out of her defensive pose- sensing this saber oddly enough actually didn't want to cause trouble- though it still didn't hinder the distrust and hatred she had for the species. "I don't know." She muttered, still not daring to tear her gaze from the large cat before her. "Look, sorry there, bucktooth, but I've- got to go." The dire stammered, turning broadside to take a step down from the ledge to another rock, but pausing to glance back at the feline. "It was good to have a saber not attack me for no reason." She flashed a quick half smile, almost of thanks, then began to swiftly make her way down the hillside rock by rock.

     Snorting, Kodaf went to one of the borders of his field. It was marked by a dense forest. The snarls echoed from deep within it. Predators. Knowing the danger of venturing out into the forest Kodaf quietly trotted back to the center of the field. The sun was slightly past it's tallest point but the day still was hot. Some mosquitos zipped by Kodaf. Most attempted to bite him. Annoyed the megaloceros stomped at the ground.
