Hydiv had been pacing around, the wind blowing at his thick pelt. Lusa trotted up to him, but as soon as she came within two feet of him she paused and lowered her head. Hydiv was unable to tell if she had lowered her head out of respect or because she was preparing to defend herself with her horns, but either way he huffed and glared at her. "Lusa, what do you want?" he grunted. "There's something weird in the distance!" Lusa hollered, and Zuri came running up behind her. "Yeah! It's wind or somethin', but it's really strong! It looks weird!"
"I think you two are being rat-brains," Hydiv huffed. He soon regretted his comment when he turned around, to see a grey figure in the sky, a tornado. All at once, Hydiv could hardly hear a thing as the world started spinning. His fur didn't blow neatly in the wind, it circled around as he bleated. His mate, Vanessa, went for cover in the chicken coop. "Vanessa, no! Get out!" he yelled harshly yet full of worry, then watched in terror as the coop collapsed.
Dixie had been resting in her doghouse outside when the tornado started. Panicked, she ran out and started barking, while trees were torn from the ground and the house started to crumble. "What's going on?! Someone stop it!" she yelped.
