Four cats were chosen, all of them with different values and strengths. These cats were seen by the spirits who roam the stars, they were seen worthy for leadership, to be given nines lives and lead others in a way of life that had not yet been seen before. Their past names and lives were unknown to all as they never could remember after they connected with the stars.
They were called to a clearing in the forest. One that some cats spend their whole lives looking for. They traveled together, side by side until they got to the clearing. Discovering four different paths to take they were bewildered, each had thought they would stay together and help lead, however each were called to a different path.
At first they were upset but then greed began to over take them as one cat decided he one take the one fatherest to the left. Another cat stopped him believing that one path lead to something bigger and better.. but which one? A fight broke out as their confusion only angered them more.
Displeased by the cats they had chosen the spirits picked for them, sending them down different paths then what had been before them. These paths were filled with death, sickness and struggle. If the cats would have chosen sensibly they would have found that each path lead to one large clearing, where they were to live together in peace. Now they were separated for life because of their greed and lust to be better. Each cat was cursed to live closest to where they originated from.
Dawnstar suffers from cold temperatures almost all the time and fast prey, as he and his cats must now live on a mountain where the morning light touches first. Smokestars Clan often suffers from forest fires and thick fog as he/she and her Clan lives deep in an aspen forest. Dewstar and her cats must suffer and always live in mud, tall weeds, and water. Silentstar is cursed to live in darkness, his Clan only coming out at night, no white cats will ever be born to his Clan.

Because of their sins a StarClan cat was sentenced to be the first Dark Forest cat as he spoke up against the Stars. He was separated from his lover and had to watch as the Clans destroy themselves.Many moons later he has had enough, going against the Stars he is reincarnating himself in order to try and bring the Clans together and prove to StarClan he was right,
but who else will be reincarnated with him?
Will the Clans join together or will they only be forced father apart?
