(Whoo, welcome, Desert! c8)

Kaos

The sea surrounding his vessel was calm, the waves gently slapping against the side of the Savant Void, only managing to rock the large structure slightly - wih the help of the busy men above on deck, stomping and running about carrying goods. The captain could clearly hear them in his quarters, laughing and shouting to each other as they moved about, going up and down the ship.

The captain himself sighed, long, thin fingers massaging the sides of his forehead slowly. He was heavily used to having hangovers in the morning, but last night he hadn't gotten any sleep and spent most of the night drinking. He pressed his lips together in a grim line, blinking his sea-green eyes for a moment, a pale hand coming up to brush through his soft Ink-Black hair, tugging on some knots on the way.

Finally he stood with a screeching drag of his chair against the wooden floor, hands blindly feeling along the table he was standing in front of until he found the black and white card, quickly stuffing it into the side of his belt, simultaneously checking if all his weapons were there. Once he did, Kaos gave a quick glance to the small window near the top of his cabin, before stalking over to the closed and locked door, slowly opening it and walking out, letting the loud noises of both the sea and his crew clash together and ring loudly in his ears. He would've enjoyed this any other day, but today just wasn't the day.

He gave a quick look over the deck, nodding slowly to whatever greeting her received from whoever had noticed him slipping out of his quarters.

[We will have having turns in posting, right? Just wondering in advance as I need to go. ]
[@Desert: If you need her to be saved, the HMS Glory can be assigned to finding the lost daughter? (And it gives more potential for characters on other ships to interact c: ). ]

Yeah, to make it fair. However, if somebody doesn't reply for maybe 3 or 4 days, we can move on.)

(Posting order will depend on who manages to post first, I guess. For example, I've already posted my RP post thing, so the next will be the second on so on.

It's perfectly fine with whatever you wish to do with your characters! :3)

Alright. xD I'm at lunch atm so sorry for shortness.}}

Chassidy awoke, with a start to, a dim lighted cell. She glanced around before kicking er feet over the side and sitting on the edge of her bed sort of thing. She gazed aroud the lower deck boredly trying to see if anyone sroud. Not like she wanted to see anybody, the more she avoided them the better It'd be for her. She sighed and stood up, going to her left and leaning against the wall. Her gaze dropped to her hands which he started to simply mess with. She moved her poiter finger on her right finger to curl and uncurl it. Anybody who would have seen her then would have thought she was crazy. She was simply doing what she was doing out of pure boredom and loneliness.

"Intolerance to my words? Please thus, tolerate this blade!"

Gentle tides brushed against the planks of the HMS Glory with the seagulls circling at the bird's nest and several sailors had been chatting about up there of old wives' tales ad stories of their own adventures from their grandiose amount of adventures in yonder seas and boats. All of different faces but of the same fate to serve but to as well explore to their heart's delight of the depths of the sea top and see the lands. But, they only saw from the feet of strangers or those foreign to other customs and only believed their own to be better than others. A common sight all humans had  if onto easily opened to new experiences or empathetic to their surroundings. Below, the decks were alive with the other more efficient crew members that were carry their weigh and dragging cargo to the lower ends, conversing with another about recent findings at the ports, and several others at the center drawing their swords and their blades clashing against another with several sparks flying. There was no dance to sword fighting or had it been an "art." It was a rugged form of hand-to-hand with extensions being blades that are more likely to kill that to leave marks on another. And with that, though, it was a dance of wits and strategy or a rancor of instinct and blood lust.

Officer Lee was stationed in the "War Room" with a large table in the center with a map of the oceans spread over and certain odd characters and creatures rumored by sailors drawn onto it. She was positioned to lean forward, her palms resting onto the table and acted as a rest. Eyes had been to flutter and analyze each red "X" marked on the map with one finger extending out to trace along the material and only vivid thoughts of what was t come came and went to her thoughts. Usually, the thoughts were bundled about with the worse predicaments happening such as failure to the mission, sinking, or being sabotaged to a surprise attack. Brown locks dangled over her shoulders and it seemed for once, the contemplation had taken over her; the woman now became a beacon of the mind: distanced yet stunning.

"Officer Lee," a request came from behind the door as still, the woman remained fixed at her thoughts and at the map before her. "It is near time for the check." A soft sigh of frustration escaped her as she glanced over her shoulder, only mentally cursing herself at nearly forgetting the time and the essence of what little they had and  how they would never recover it. Tapping the bottom of her shoe towards the creaking plank, her figure straightened out and her shoulders rotated. "I shall be out shortly. Notify the Captain as well," she spoke with an authoritative tone, "and make sure no one is absent." The last reminder hung sour from her lips, much like an amputee's stitches after having his limb sawed off for the better of his health but not his mind. Oh, what a feeble thing the mind was, she could only muster in thought as her hands cleared the wrinkles from her black studded coat. A soft strut was given about the room with her hands tracing along the globe but still, her eyes followed how it didn't move. S.O.S. letters in bottles were on the shelf as a friendly reminder of another obstacle at hand for one of the noble families of her country and that were the captives.

'Shall this be truly the ever happen? Why must hope be given when the rates of death are much higher than living captives and much so, dying is worse than the estrangement and cruelty of their captures.' For once, the naval officer removed her white cap, pressed it towards her left breast, and bowed her head. It was to only give her respects if it was certainly true that those they seek had fallen to the clutches of pirates and were given the treatments all innocents that the pirates thought they deserved: humiliation and death.  Maybe a gamble was offered in exchange for hostages but truly, the innocent are never innocent after time under the planks of a ship, in chains, and starving. A shiver went down her spine, but she bit her lower lip, restraining any memory that will come to her of what she had seen or had happened to her. "God's speed," she muttered, "God's speed can only ensure us their safety or their execution." Quietly, Abigail was in the moment of intimacy raised her cap, adjusted it, and looked out towards the window. Only the reflection of Abigail Natasha Lee-Jenkins came to look back at her. Only Officer Lee returned the gaze.

Professionally and boldly, the woman opened the door towards the corridor of the ship's 2nd floor. Only the sudden thumps of busy feet could be heard above as the sailor that came to remind the officer of her duty reminded them of what little patience was given to those that heed her words as play. Even with keeping with this facade, a delicate smirk shortly came and was gone instantly at the stomp all becoming like marching, like the mallets beaten against drums. Long strides were taken towards the main deck and Officer Lee remained stoic with no returning glances at those who were late and squirmed to find that the naval officer had caught them running late. Oh, how they shivered! All at once did they march up the stairs as her strides were slow, ensuring them time as it was unnecessary to be disciplining and instructing adults of what was expected of them. As, it would mean every sailor would receive slips, excuses, banishment, or death. It was a hidden pleasure of hers to see others endure this alas, it was not in her right to enforce it when it was proper to be behaved and legally take cruel action.

"Attention on deck!" A voice roared over the silence of the deck with men and women of different ranks lined up at their stations (and those on the lower floors still running about to get the gallery and cargo fit). And from the grand doors that opened, Officer Lee emerged with the sunlight hitting her, the exquisite appearance of power came to the life above and all were still in awe and fear for she had come to claim what was hers: order.
