"When you feel like quitting, think about why you started."

""It is not the strongest of the species that survive, nor the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change."
The woman was now making her way down the street, Donald hot on her heels. Without the heavy sack, it felt that a weight had been lifted from her shoulders; thank goodness. With the somewhat long run back to the car, that bag would have only slowed her down. Since the others were already close to Theos base, which seemed quite secure, she didn't feel too much of a need to worry however, of course she did. As she made her way down the street, the sound of distant moans and shrieks filled the streets. The all to familiar sounds of the beasts grunting and shrieking, the sound of the mutant cats and dogs didn't go un-noticed either. Looking back now and then the lass would make sure Donald was behind her, as she shoved things out of the way and hopped over the occasional things. Hunter and Kaisza would run ahead, then fall back; they seemed to be taking out any beasts they could, along with herself as she shot a few down which came in to sight. Thankfully, it seemed that the son was rising, slowly, but it was. Soon enough those things would go in to hiding, and the only thing they'd need to deal with was the Z's - frustrating and sometimes difficult, but easy enough to do. A smile formed at the womans lips as the black rover came in to view "up ahead" She called out, picking up the pace. Once arriving at the car, she pulled the doors open and hopped in, once Donald was in, she backed up.
All the rubble she had used to hide the car had quickly fallen off, and the car was now backing out in to the streets. A sudden thud to the car caused the lasses brows to furrow "Bastards don't get the hint!" She growled, leaning out the window and shooting two Z's who were banging against the back window. The lass would jump though as a yelp, followed by a growl sounded. Looking up the street, her blue gaze would land on two canines - infected and mutated of course. Grinning, the lass stepped on the accelerator and the car sped forward, the dogs seemed to charge towards the car too. With a hard thud, the car smacked in to the two dogs, and jerked up in to the air - flattened like a pancake. Although, she had no time to slow down and instead, she sped up the street, skidding round corners and hitting anything which stepped out in front of the vehicle. Within several minutes of driving, they were soon in the car park which lead to their base. Opening the door, she'd nod to Donald, whether he followed or not was his choice - they needed to get the rest of the group, supplies and the extra car. Pulling off the plank of wood, she'd shove her way in to the building.
Jakes face lit up as the all too familiar face entered. Jumping up, the lad would run towards her, pick her up and squeeze her tightly "I thought you weren't coming back you little idiot!" He smirked, setting the 'tiny' lass back on the ground. "Where's Clark?" He'd soon follow with "Ah, we found Theo and Chris, seems their base may be safer whilst Tonxs has the baby. Need to grab everything and go now, though" Ken would huff as she began grabbing supplies. "Great, hopefully it is suitable then - I'll help with the supplies" Jake remembered what had happened, and he wouldn't completely trust the duo just yet. However, he began helping Kennedy grab the bags of supplies.
(It's perfectly fine, don't sweat it.)
