I am gonna bump this because this issue is still going on. I cannot get FH to work at all, nor let it through the firewalls/anti-virus protections I have.
I'm bumping just in case someone else is able to help my problem out, because I really do not want to leave FH just because the game won't work, and I doubt a new patch is gonna come out anytime soon.

I'm sorry that the topic is a month old, but I didn't feel that it was necessary starting a new topic for the same exact issue.

Not gonna lie, I don't like the new ranks.
I just don't find them good or funny.
But that doesn't mean I seethe in pure rage when I see them, since most of the time I don't even notice ranks.

Actually, I made Johnnie before ever playing RDR2 (I remember RDR when I was a kid but I still never played it).
I made him because I love the cowboy outlaw stories, and my boyfriend decided to make a rp with it, and I just adore it ^^

After we both played RDR2 however, it helped us create a better story (we use real life place names, and ours take place before RDR2)
(Funny thing is, his character is from a bloodline of Bells ((his character is adorably named Liberty Bell)), so Micah's last name being Bell was a very strange experience)

I haven't fully drawn him, but I will for sure get a reference up of him some day <33

Hopefully I will find someway to solve this out, or if some new patch comes out that fixes any of this

I tried turning off water reflection before, but that didn't seem to help (also turned off anything else that I seemed unnecessary for now).

Also, after I had FH downloaded, I got on the computer the next day to see that the .exe file was suddenly deleted, so I'm still certain that my firewall has something to do with all of this because it still views FH as a threat.


Redownloaded FH and the .exe file (took a while for it to actually work), and the only thing for a log I could find was this:

Didn't change when FH crashed, didn't find any actual file labeled BadFile or FHLog
I also didn't download markings and items this time since it was useless to do that when all that would happen is that I would crash

Sorry about replying so late everyone, I've been kinda on a hiatus from my computer.

@Dark_Heart
This computer is pretty brand new, and any FH file I had I got rid of to see if that would fix it (which it didn't).

@arilioness
I have the basic webroot right now, and anything else that computer comes automatically installed with.

@SpicyDirt
Tried to allow Fh with all of the protections I can find on my computer, even pressing "allow always" and making exceptions to FH, but none of it worked.

Like many others, FH is near impossible for me to get on now.
After days of trying to get it to at least install, I finally got everything installed by disabling every protection I got.
Problem is, my computer still views FH's .exe as a major threat and deletes it when I turn my firewall and virus protections back on, and I've tried to allow it through these protections, but it still somehow blocks it (I make sure to click things like "allow always" and the such).

And when I do get on, everything works fine until it randomly shuts down. No lost connection or any bad prompt, FH just suddenly closes. It happens after about 2 mins or so, and I know some others had the same issue but so far nothing has worked for me.

Any ideas on what I could do?
