Yes~

Coalara walked along the riverbank, and yawned. Why the heck did she have to go out on the dawn patrol...? Not like the other wimpy tribes planned to do anything in life other then sit there and eat beetles or whatever. She still wondered why her tribe didn't do anything, either. It would be easy to take over the others, they sat there like ducks! Huffing to herself, Lara kicked a small stone into the water next to her. "Damn these idiots." she muttered, then shut her mouth instantly. She hoped to the Gods her partner next to her didn't hear. That would most likely be bad. Very bad.

Name: Tsukiakari (Moonlight)
Age: 2 & 1/2
Gender: Female
Wished Tribe: Tribe of the Moon
Wished Rank: Trainee/Scout
Personality: Kind but she mostly stays to herself. Fiercely loyal to her friends and family. She doesn't talk much. And sometimes she's lacking on the patience thing...

RP example: She tried to summon a small ball of light, but to no avail. She could hardly see anything in the dark cave. " Oh Goddess of the Night," she prayed, " help me get out of here!"

Extra Stuffs: Sorry if my example wasn't all that great... I'm still new at roleplay. And are wings allowed? If so, just imagine blue wings on her! If you want to, i can just rename her Moonlight... And can she be the Light element please? Thanks for reading! :D  And no i am not japanese... I am pure Oklahoman!

As lovely as your sample was, I'm afraid this died a LONG time ago.
These posts are over a year old, and this RP- I don't even remember the map.

However, I AM reviving an RP I made a little more recently, called Bestia Magia, which is here
That RP has WAY more magic, and is also multi-species.

Thank you for showing interest, however.~ ^.^

"We're all gonna die some day. I either want a short 'n sweet life, or a short 'n bad life. I want the pain of existence to last as little as possible."

Name
Windy

Nickname(s)
Wind, Lady

Age
Around 3 1/2 Years

Breed
German Shepard

Sub-breed
Doberman

Cage Number/Subject Number
253

Crush
None (Yet)

Mate
None (Yet)

Pup(s)
None (Yet)

Personality
Windy is a calm, reserved dog with lots to think, little to say. She sees a more negative side of the world, and has accepted the reality that no matter what happens, she will die, and her life might as well be a grain of sand at a beach. While Wind likes to 'attempt' to see life half full, she's convinced that no matter what happens, she's about as useful as a spoon is to a snake.

Background/History
Windy was born in a pet store, her mother was a stray and her father was most likely some street dog. The store cared for Wind, her mother, and her two siblings until they were each bought out by different families over time. Windy was taken to a family with a mother, father, and two sons. She was mainly just there to occupy the boy's short attention span, and that she did. For a long time, that is, until they went on a vacation when she was 3. Concerned for her humans, she left through the doggy door and searched the street. She ended up lost. From there, she learned enough about being a stray, but being used to food every day and a warm place to sleep, Windy nearly died of starvation. Only reason she's here is the scraps she found. And then, she was taken in by the facility.

In case you wanted a real pic.~

I agree, however may I add a point?
Well, if you have - let's say five - five members whereas another pack has one hundred, or more, I feel like it's not exactly fair.
I'm not looking for a fight, and know where you're coming from.
I understand that people have many preferences, as I do too - especially with my "Warriors" role-plays. And, I'd be really upset if I made a role-play sample in great detail, as you had, and then being blocked by said group, but I wouldn't be too upset about it. There are many good role-plays out there, not just said group, and most are more flexible as well.
-Clears throat- Now, back to the first topic I was rambling on about; the main reason why I think it's unfair why people would complain about people "stealing members" - don't know why it would be worded like that, since you can't steal what you can't own - is because many people feel disowned - if that's even the word that I'm looking for - and useless since some role-plays have forums and maps, which might've taken multiple hours to make, and most go to the larger group even though they'll most likely be ignored by those members (atleast from my past experiences, I've always been ignored whenever joining large groups). It is just my opinion, though, based off of past experiences.
-Wolfie
Honestly, this is what I have felt.

I think the best experience I have with this was when I made a WC RP that by far the most unique I've seen.
To sum it up, the cats could interact with and/or become dragons for x amount of time.

I made the RP based on a few things I had seen, and was really excited to start RPing.
So I recruited almost every day, aiming to get as many members as I could so that everyone could have members in their clan to RP with.
There were certain days I noticed, however, that I would get at MAX 3 members, and I noticed that the reason was TWR.

It's extremely unfair to the other groups that have effort, rather then the large groups that only get the members 'cause they have lots others.
Then again, this might be a bias due to the fact that when I joined TWR, I loathed every second of it and never RPed or anything, so...

As for what the original post said, about 'being better at recruiting', that has nothing to do with it.
As long as you have more than 20 members, you're automatically assumed to be a, "FANTASTIC GROUPS EVERYONE SHOULD JOIN!"
Seriously.
I remember the good ol' days of general chat, and how the people who had interesting recruiting grabs would get less members because of that one group in the corner that said, "[GroupNameHere] - Lit, Active, 20+ Members! Whisper me to join!"

That's all I really have to say right now, so....

I just....

FH is full of 'logic', see?

I mean, a blind wolf can totally go watch a human!

... Because horses can do that.

Honestly, this cracks me up, and I think belongs under 'crazy'. XD

Game Discussion / Re: Immortality in RPs

@Aero-?-????, that's one of the things I enjoyed about the forum RP I was complaining about.
While our fights were pretty one-sided (I mean, a depressed, weak wolf vs. a deadly, brave wolf who thinks of herself as all-mighty is a bit one-sided), it was still interesting since both charries knew the other can't die.
And yes, immortality is VERY amusing in the right circumstances. For example, when someone says "I'll kill you one day" as a way to frighten your charrie, all they have to say is, "No, you never will."

@Hugrf, I guess that is true.
But, as I was reading your post, I was thinking on adding in that 'No one has found a way to kill her', thus meaning she can be killed, but it hasn't been found out how.
I guess that would solve a lot of issues with immortal characters if that one line was added to their bios.

As for flaws of being immortal, there are quiet a few I can come up with on the top of my head.
(A)
If you get trapped, say, in an avalanche or end up buried under something somehow, you're stuck there for all of eternity. End of story.
(B)
EMOTIONS PEOPLE. Like you said, Hugrf, being immortal would definitely have some type of emotional toll on someone. I mean, you see everyone you love die, make new friends, they die, ect.
(C)
Wounds. People seem to think that immortals also have the ability to heal their wounds like some lower-tier Wolverine magic or something. Normally, they can't. If an immortal is, for example, shread to bits, or has an organ ripped out, it stays that way. They continue to feel that pain forever, still alive. They would still continue to live.

Game Discussion / Immortality in RPs
« on: May 10, 2014, 07:18:06 pm »
Now, I know over half of the people who clicked this are thinking, "Oh no, another rant about idiots who use immortality," while that is completely wrong.
If anything, I praise those who use immortality correctly.

By 'correctly', I mean they don't use this OP perk to run around and do whatever they want, but to give depth to their character.
For example, my latest OC (named Sennin) is immortal, and over five thousand years old.
Being as how she can't die, she also stopped aging physically at about 3 1/2 years old, so she looks young.
But she's depressed all the time, and hides herself from others because she doesn't want to get attatched to 'mortals' who will just end up dieing on her while she stays youthful for eternity. And so if a character ever comes up to Sennin, she's normally just reply something about being 'busy' then walk away, head low.
Iaminnowaysayingthischarrieisperfect.Thisisjustmyveiwofwhata'good'exampleofimmortaltyis.

Then we all know the people who use immortality to not kill their charrie, and make them an OP killing machine.
This happened a day or so ago while RPing with a friend on a forum RP, while I was Sennin. She was new to RP, and thought it would be fun to also make an immortal.
She used this to easily overtake anyone else who joined the RP, and also she constantly challenged my charrie to a duel, knowing that mine was MUCH more likely to surrender then her, and was unlikely to attack in the first place.
When I told her, and explained why I made Sennin the way I did, she was confused and just kept going as she was, completely ignoring the mental affects that immortality would cause.

A LOT of people seem to only think immortal charries are the second example, which is why when I tell people Sennin is immortal and they call me an 'ILLITERATE POWER-PLAYING NOOB' I get annoyed.
Ohyea,tryingtokeepthisawayfromrantingaboutthistopic.

With the ever-growing amount of realistic RPs, any hopes of immortal charries seem to be thrown out the window onto the road to be run over by a truck.
The way people react to this type of charrie is uncalled for, being as how I've seen other people with fantastic immortal characters.

Overall, though, this was really just something I typed up while I was bored, so....

Game Discussion / Re: Unrealistic/fantasty Characters
« on: May 05, 2014, 07:21:16 pm »
I always make unrealistic characters. XD
They either have magic, some type of curse, are a mythical species, or are just flatly not realisticly colored.
I don't care for realistic RPs, just because being realistic adds so many restrictions.

It really is annoying to see people who make such cool characters and want to RP with them, but can't because about 2 people in all of FH make unrealistic RP's, and I tend to do the same.
The only 'realistic' RP I was ever a 'leader' in died quite a few months ago.

All the hate in unnecessary, but it mainly spawns from the stereotype that 'all neons/winged characters are illiterate noobs!'
While that's not true.
I have seen ONE truely not-literate person as a neon, all the others are literate people trolling.

"Everyone says that you can die. Then why haven't I?"

Name
Sennin

Gender
Female

Accompanied by
Her memories

Personality
Sennin can best be described, to an outsider, as cold hearted, uncaring, and serious. Not many bother to talk to her, in fear that she'll just 'emo her way out of the conversation'. Sennin enjoys talking, which is why some also call her crazy since she talks to herself a lot. Though, the real reason for her behavior is her over-whelming fear of death. After seeing so many die before her, it has gotten to her head, and death is now a concept that her mind takes more seriously then most would.

Description/Picture
Picture at top.

Bio
Sennin was born in a normal pack, in a normal forest, with a normal life. Though, you can't really call a cream-colored daredevil 'normal' When Sennin was young, she was the most daring wolf in the pack, always accepting any bet that came her way. She enjoyed life, taking everything calmly and relaxed. Until the plague hit. When her entire pack fell to the ground, she finally realized that death was a real, true thing. Running away from the scene, she hid in a cave for as long as she could, in fear. That time in the cave, she pondered why death exists, what is death. Her over-whelming fear of her once non-existent enemy shook her greatly, causing an odd type of insanity to take place.
