here's how you make HUUGE maps by only using the 513x513 standard.
Step 1:open gimp and make the canvas really big like 1420x1420. make sure it's grayscale!
Step 2:once your done making the heightmap go to one of the drop-down buttons and click scale image then turn it to 513x513
Step 3:once you do that it should still be the map you made but just using the 513x513 standard
Step 4:save it then go to map maker, type in the name and your done! now you can make the map as big as you want it to be with more detailed heightmaps!
