To be specific, my intentions of joining were as quoted, "A different social interacting experience with many members". You know, since some others didn't suit me.

*cough*ClubPenguin*cough*

Although, another forum I also joined and a decent member there too.

Leaving / Official leave...

Hey, this is Carmen Aka Robin_Wolfieh/Narkeen. Ever since I first joined up, I loved to play with the game as well roleplay on the forums and check up with the creative folk that we are blessed with in this community. From the off-topic part to character bios and arts and the like. Recently however, my interest was temporarily stifled because of a move from a city (Chicago) to a sub reual place (Romeoville) and we were out of internet for a good while (3+ months). As soon I got it back on, my Lenovo laptop (reliable companion) died on me. Lasted for a good 1-2 years with hardly no problems. One of the hinges of the screen severed the cord that prevents images from showing up. It still works, but I took it apart as an attempt to repair it myself. That...didn't turn out so well.

Anyways, got a new laptop for Christmas last year as well a few games (DS). Well, it's old since it's refurbished and all. I was excited to get back in-game only to find out that our service doesn't support it for reasons unknown. That's what I get for keeping a bundled package for a decent price. If we didn't get it, we would be without cable as well as phone. Anywho that's not the least of my worries. I also have a bad case of internet addiction. So hopefully when I get a job or something, I'll become more social outside of our house.

When the game was down for a few weeks (Last year...I think) the forums were active and one particular user (don't remember) mentioned this awesome indie game called Transformice. I'm still tied to them since then and occasionally play the game...but not as much as I used to. Again, losing interest in games as a "Gamer" due to family and health concerns as well as financial. Also, not in my best form since my leave in college due to moving and such. Also, my writing hasn't been so sweet either. I hardly even touch Microsoft Word since highschool graduation, which means no fan-fictions or anything literary being submitted in Deviant Art (of which some of them was lost in my old laptop, mainly the PMD fan-fic that everyone loved during High school).

As you can see, I have personal issues to settle with and with the already dwendling interest in games and this site. With a heavy heart, I will soon close both accounts as well as my Neopets accounts (kid_moon_4eva and such for those that visit) and my Youtube (possibly) in hopes to find a job. To get in shape and whatever else I need to do.  If you wish to keep in contact with me, my T4M/C4M account name is Fwaku, Youtube account is Fwakukuun and Deviant Art is RobinCanisLupus. This is Carmen...signing off...for good.

Discussion Board / Re: Misunderstood/Unpopular Animals
« on: March 16, 2013, 04:49:18 pm »
I think that there should be caution among people who find dangerous animals cute and likeable. They may seem like they are 'misunderstood' but in the end we have to remember that they are wild animals and can very easily hurt us if we aren't careful. This goes particularly for people who keep exotic wild animals (like tigers, lions and big cats, along with big snakes and other large 'wild' animals) as pets in their backyard. Not only is it unethical, but it's dangerous as well. Sorry if I went a bit off topic ;u; I thought it might be interesting to bring up popular animals that are misunderstood as well. On FH, for example, I'm guessing a lot of people adore wolves and lions, but we should never forget that if met with these animals in the wild, they probably wouldn't hesitate to attack, and I think that's important to remember.

Thank you for mentioning that. I think that's the first time anyone's ever mentioned an animal being 'misunderstood' in that particular way. And you weren't going off-topic at all!

Usually when people mention an animal as being 'misunderstood', they often mean that the animal is made out to be worse/more dangerous than it really is. But being 'misunderstood' can also mean that the animal is made out to be less dangerous than it really is. Like how when people own pet chimpanzees or pet wolves. Chimps may look like cute hairy little people, and wolves may look like cute 'n' cuddly doggies, but they are wild animals, and unlike domesticated animals like dogs or sheep, they do not depend on humans to survive, and they are not keen on taking orders from creatures that are not only physically weaker than them, but also edible.

Oh the movie industry. Why you mislead peers? -and another thing while going into topic. People can keep animals and confine them in unsightly places and (more or less) can lead into hoarding/addiction. Even while keeping exotic pets, if you are going to keep them (and put people and yourself in danger) at least give them some room or don't let them breed with each other unless you have a lot of area. I don't understand the porpose of keeping them, what's wild is wild. You can't domesticate ALL animals (Most animals are oppotunistic) and they will kill you if they ever had a chance. Even with pets, you can't entirely convert them to your needs.

Anywho, some people should at least do SOME research about said animal for whatever purpose they'll be up to. Nothing wrong with looking at some books to get a better understanding of anything.

Game Discussion / Re: Craziest thing ever experienced?

Hmmm... I was rp-ing on my fox in bonfire.. And all of a sudden, the night sky turned to day (without a sunrise o_o) And then I was at the corner of the map in a flash and I had to swim all the way back to the island o_o

You mean without a transition? Hm. That is weird. Is it possible you have some sort of animation delay or something? Having the game up for long periods of time could contribute to some lag.

@Carmen Yeah, mate centers are pretty bogus anyways. I tend to stay away from them but I do like to gravitate towards fight centers or fight rings, whatever.
I somehow usually get pulled in and have my character beat up which is always fun. :D
(The way I act in game I would beat my character up too, lol)

Nah, I visit the "centers" "faur-deh-lulz". -but I am slightly thrown-aback whenever I see a good 3/4 sentenced paragraph with the other user responding in a similar manner. It's not completely horrible, it's their methods and how they run it is the problem.

Or maybe some "veterans" don't have the time or patience to teach. -But I'm more than happy to lend a hand too when someone approaches me with a question.

"There is always a time to play but not to-" Something...*scatter brained*

Since I have issues with my cruddy internet and all, whenever I do play in-game I occasionally press the Escape key and go to Options and see the controls. I tell some newcomers this too in case a few examples and explanations doesn't do justice. However, since of my kind nature, I jump into action whenever I do happen to be in-game and see someone bullied and guide them away. -But you can't control everything on what they do and some people are just going to be as such (I sometimes question parenting methods).

Although the magical "block" button can be used anytime in-game. Out of sight, out of mind right?

@avarigriffin
My brain...was straining to translate that. This is what I got:
"The pale colored feline lurched off her hind quarters slashing her claws into the she-wolf? throat, snapping her lower jaw into her head and snagging a blade (I assume claw) into her sidal gland-"

Yeah...it's not making much sense to me with either. I'm stopping this. This is a headache just by getting that part through.
(Also, the quote thing is being a derp)
