When you post something up on an open forum and ask "how does it look" you should understand that that all comments will not say that what you've posted is wonderful.
This is your first try and there is always room for improvement. To improve you need to handle the harsh critiques that might be thrown your way. Even if the critique might be seen by you as negative, the writer might have seen it as a positive. Before putting yourself down ask them to elaborate and ask for suggestions on how to improve.
I'm very sorry that you deleted this. I really liked the swirl markings on the neck. Hopefully I'll be able to give critique on your next one.
