Map making
« on: October 22, 2015, 12:56:30 am »
Is there anyway to add trees quicker to huge maps such as the size '90,000'?

Especially on maps that have hills, It's going to be slower because you have to make sure
the trees aren't floating. And then you have to do rocks, grass, etc.

Any tips/advice would be appreciated.

Ah, 'allo Aeden. There is one way to do so quicker, but, unfortunately, ye are probably hoping f'er something much faster than this. What ye could do is press C to clone the trees and just move y'er mouse around the map pressing C. Now, this won't make sure that the trees aren't levitating, but this will place trees much faster than 'aving to keep clicking the "Add Object" button.

If ye be doin' this already, then, what ye could do is make a new object. I 'ave yet to try this, but head to the Object Maker and add a few trees in there. Give it a name and save and export it. Then try and use it in y'er map. Hope this helps ye floof and best of luck with y'er new map!

Tmw you planned a ten minute nap but instead took a whole year.
