- Carnith
Having little to do and so much to aid the canines future needs that will certainly come to pass surrounding them, there was no hesitation when preferring the site that would inevitably become the camping spot of the wolf to claim for the upcoming night. Though, it was hard to tell the time of day with the trees leaning over in a seemingly endless voyage to reach out to the suns magnificent rays-- this hallowed light left small patches of sun flickering through and exposing the soil below to those rays within the mostly shadowed area. A blinding chance if caught in the eye by the harsh light.
Of course, the wolf would engage in an alerted sense of someone or somethings presence nearby eventually, just carrying over the wind to pass Carnith, and give the wolf a signal of whether to dash. Carnith continued to lay idly, engulfed by the surrounding brush that loomed near, and fell into a light sleep.
A few moments later... No, a few seconds later a short howl came in response. It told merely of notice and didn't seem to intend harm in the message, but Carnith couldn't be quite sure because most of the message was chopped off mostly because the canine hadn't expected a reply at all. Surprised by this, the wolf was unsure of whether to dart pass and use the forests coverage now or wait for the fellow wolf to come near. Carnith wen't into a crouch, crawling beneath some thickly set brush that favored the winds current which would cover Carnith's scent in case. He'd set a plan for this little meeting that would soon come-- he would either take the role of feigning curiosity and comfort, or make oneself scarce or cautious at the least when relating to levels of harshness in the upcoming exchange. It was bound to happen unless a bear decided to come to play, or worse, another wolf.
