A small, light brown figure lay curled on the wooden floor, his wet nose sticking from the round creature. Suddenly, the light started to peak through the Living Room curtains, spreading light on the Pit Bull. The bright light made his brown eyes flicker open, and instead of the dangerous streets, he found himself with his pack in the house. His tongue swiped over his pink, leathery nose. His paws were neatly tucked under his chin, until he lifted his head wearily. His floppy ears flicked as he turned his head to the left. He lifted himself up, his paw pads feeling the warm wood underneath him. His claws clicked on the floor as he started to walk outside, his head lifted high. When he was outside, the morning sun shone on his waterproof pelt. He sat down on the soft grass, and stared at some cars rumbling by.
