That's probably the case for many other creatures. But if there was no color distinction, our ancestors wouldn't have been able to spot the sabertooth that was hiding in the bushes and have a hard time picking fruits. Humans rely a lot on vision so a lack of color distinction can be very disadvantageous. Art will still be around no matter what tho
