Map Maker Crashing FeralHeart
« on: April 27, 2017, 06:40:50 am »
So... Honestly, I haven't found anything that works for me. I am trying to avoid having to reinstall the game as my computer is very old and it will take me a very long time for me to download all of my mods, objects, and textures again.

There is NOTHING wrong with my height maps, I was working on a map as my computer crashed (TL:DR if the power supply becomes unplugged the systems hard resets) To make this point clear, yes, my map is:
-513 x 513
-Grayscale
-Flattened
-One Layer
-Does not have an Alpha Channel

Anywho, to avoid repeat suggestions these are the solutions I have tried thus far:
- Checked particles, there are no repeats
- Checked Terrains folder, deleted anomalous files, excluding Watermill, and Temp
- Changed my rendering subsystem

I do not know what else to try.

I've noticed issues with heightmaps sometimes and although 'tis one compressed layer, it still crashes the map maker. I recommend opening y'er art program, copying the heightmap and pasting it on a new canvas and overwrite the original. Hope that fixes it f'er ye! Best of luck!

Tmw you planned a ten minute nap but instead took a whole year.
