Well I'm not too familiar with mesh making/converting etc yet alone map making since I've never really made maps myself I only stick to presets but did you try checkig the tutorials section of the forum?

Hope this helps
1. Find the image you want, make sure it's uploaded to somewhere like Photobucket or Tinypic. (Easier if you have a photobucket account cause all you do is upload the image there and it automatically gives you a Image code.)
2. Right click the image and choose "Copy image URL," or for some browsers, it's "Copy image Location"
3. Type in the space or where ever you are trying to paste the image:
