moon texture issue

I've been trying to change my moon texture and it keeps appearing with whiteness around it. i was beginning to wonder what could be the issue, but the picture is .png, 513x513. i'm running out of ideas. maybe it has to do something with the properties that i save the image by?



it worked before but it was too bright, so i tried to darken it. i added a black layer and made it darken the image below. maybe fh doesn't grasp the concept of that? as you can't add layers while making a terrain.

nevermind, i found the issue. one button was checked even though it wasnt supposed to be.
