Community Activities Hub / 🎃👻FH Halloween 2022 RP Events!!!👻🎃

Hello Everyone!!!

Finally, I can bring you these. These RP Events took a lot to set up. And even more in the days leading up to each one. It was stressful doing it all last minute. I put myself through pain for your guy's enjoyment. 😅
Either way, this will be fun for me!!!
I hope all of you have just as much fun as me!!!




Ok these RP Events will be set up like a DnD Campian. What I mean here is they will have a DM that leads you forward in your adventure. You may even be asked to roll a dice and such.
Though, if you think your DM has total control, you'd be deathly mistaken. Your actions will affect the outcome and plot. So, you effectively have just as much effect on the outcome as the DM will.

There will be a total of around 3 events. Each event will have slots or a certain amount of people that can partake in each one. This is because if there are too many people, it becomes too hectic for the DM and the rpers in the event. So we have settled on about 5-6 rpers in the group excluding event helpers and the DM.
Some will have rolls to fill. Others will just be purely open without discretion or roles to fill.
After you apply with the following information I will add you to the slots taken and send you a link to the event discord. At that point, I will give you access to the event chat and dice roll bot. I plan on allowing you guys to see The DM roles.

Once this is done and your character is locked in for you out of your arsenal of characters to use. I will then As you to jump Online and join the rp Groups in the game I will set up for this event only. This is so that we do all our rps in there cause of course we have no general and as DM I have to see and read what's going on to monitor my actions and make sure they line up.

I will however open up for spectators to take a spot to watch.
Spectators alls gain the ability to be picked to help in or with the rp events as well.
They just have to follow the same protocol by entering the info below.

For each Event, you will get exclusive stuff for that event. Each will Have their own "Movie Poster" Artwork!!!
This will contain references or full bodies of the characters within the rp. I have also debated on doing Movie frame Shots too!!!

Wolfs are all character stand-ins. Doesn't have to be a canine either.

Every Participant in the RP Event will get a copy!!!


By Joining the event you are agreeing to these Rules. These rules may be subject to change if a situation occurs.

1. I should not have to say this but no NSFW!!! Gore etc if permitted by the topic of the rp but no sexual stuff.

2. Listen to the DM. DM just like in DnD is your guide to the world and build etc of the world. If you searching for clues, needing more info, etc they will give it to you!!! They will tell you what you find, include important info, and so on. They are very important to keep the RP moving forward!!! So Please Listen to them otherwise the RP will fall appart.

3. Know that what you and your characters do affects the story. Keep this in mind. DM does control the rp to a large degree but you do as well with your actions. Remember Actions have consequences!!!

4. We will Be using dice rolls at some points. If this does DM will roll them. Dm will be fair. Even if they do not roll dice.


5. By joining you agree to anything that is within the rp Event. This includes any gore, blood, etc warnings given in the rp event post!!!


6. It will be stated in the rp Event Post if it entails characters dying within the rp. If you Join with this Knowledge you are agreeing to have your character die. If so and you die you are allowed to spectate the rp but can not return or give clues.




As stated earlier there will be 3 events in total. The First 2 will be leading up to Halloween. Each will State the date/dates they will take place if there is an overlap. All of these do not have posters drawn out. If they don't will talk to those in the rp event for inspiration.(RP is not finished in 1 day.)

The third will be the week after Halloween if the Demand for these Events is well received. Until I see how this goes I will not post the 3rd Event.

Each will Say, Name of the RP, Date, Layover Date, How many slots are, who is the DM, Trigger Warning such as Blood and Gore, If characters will die, Helpers, and Back-Up Helpers, and Give a Description of the RP itself.

That said, let's see what we Have on the table this Year!!!

Rp Plot Summary

Currently, you and your friends have recently graduated from the police academy. You had been looking for a job for a while when one of your friends brings up that he found a town in a decent area looking for 6 new officers.
All without any experience is needed as the town is a small rural town in the middle of a rural area.
Seeing as you and all your friends are looking for jobs and that you all would be able to stay together. You all think it would be a great idea to apply for jobs in that police force.
Long story short all of you get jobs there. However, as all of you arrive you find that all isn’t well in this little town. There are tons of missing posters, however, the officers seem to not care about marking them as “people always go missing here” and “They always come back around. Maybe they just went camping and got lost.”

However, regardless of any worries, the town officers refuse to raise alarm with the locals as the local Harvest Festival is coming up this week. And due to how much money it brings in for the town and its citizens, none of the local officers or officials want to take precautions or any actions to deter any tourist from coming to the Festival.

Of course, this backfires when bodies start turning up left and right. Soon you find a mystery to go along with the homicides.

So now, it's up to you and your friends.
Will you find the murderer? Can you solve the town Mystery?
Will you even survive long enough to know the truth?
Or are you stirring the pot for something bigger?

Rp Plot Summary

You currently are part of a small paranormal team with your close friends. You have decided to call yourselves,[Rpers decide the name].
Due to a recent investigation at a well-known location gathering very extraordinary evidence and gaining notoriety. The Paranormal Teams' popularity has skyrocketed, however, this comes with unforeseen issues for your team.
Your team gets flooded by many people asking for help with varying issues of the Paranormal. Ranging from thinking their home is haunted to people pleading for help due to violent and malevolent hauntings.
You and your team are overwhelmed and are unclear about what is fact or fiction. So come together to decide what your next course of action should be.

This is when you receive a call, and soon find out it's from another older and well more renowned research team. This team is known to work for a well-known university as their Paranormal Research Division. And is funded by the university itself.
Seems they are having issues with the Team Lead and, Team Mediums' daughter.
The young girl of only 5, as well as the parents and team, seem oddly worried for the little girl. The little girl is suspected to have abilities like her mother.
However, in the past 2 months, the girl has been acting odd as well as the appearance with a strange and odd-looking doll that she carries that they have no idea where it came from. As well as paranormal activity around the home and team that has been disturbing and violent in nature.
They called asking for your help.
And especially with a small child, you jump on the case immediately without hesitation.
You and your team have no real clue what you're walking into, will you be able to solve this case? Will you be able to protect this little girl?
Or will you become victims of a malevolent force yourself?

Hello Everyone,

I know I'm a little late. Sorry about that. I do apologize. I decided to set all this stuff up late by accident as well as technical difficulties. But either way we are back on track now.

I finally finished the preparations for the Contests to be posted. As far as I know, some of these will be the first of these types of contests for Halloween!! So let's get to them!!!

This contest will be our first Halloween Character Contest!!!
I know a lot of people here on FH are artists so I figured it wouldn't be Halloween Without a few art Contest!!!


With all this said I'd like to introduce your Judge's panel for this contest...

Let's give our Judges a big Thank you for helping out with the Contests. Without them, we wouldn't be able to hold our Contests!!! So thank you to all of them!!!


We are gonna go over the rules since this will function a bit differently than the other contests. These are standard rules to follow though if we do run into issues. Us Judges all together will decide to add new rules and changes. Hense these rules can change at any time if deemed necessary.


These are the rules you must follow with your entree.

1. No Sexual Content is to be used during your entree period.

2. If you use blood and gore in your entree please add a TW(Trigger Warning) to the title and disclaimer below the title of your entree and/or before your entree is posted. It is also advisable that you also include why the trigger warning is included. Such as TW Blood and Gore.

3. Entrée has to be your original work. Obviously, plagiarism is not allowed here.
However, You are allowed to use character bases as long as you credit the Maker of said base.

4. Your entree must be made between October 16-21 of 2022.


Ok How this Contest will Work out? This will just explain how this will work and make it easy for all of us to understand.

2. On October 16, I will pm you threw discord with your randomly generated color palette to use for your character. (Color palette will be chosen and given a number and your name will be randomly generated as a number. The number will be the color palette you get.

3. After your Pmed on discord the color palette you have till October 21, 2022 at 6pm, to submit your entry by posting it here on the forum below. You are not limited by pieces or any limitations in that type of manner.


Your entree must be submitted before October 21, 2022, at 6 pm. The winner will be announced at the Offical Halloween Party on the 29th of October as well as posted that day as well.


The First Place winner Will receive a Free Preset of any character they choose from me, TheEarthSpirit.

As far as I know, this is one of the Firsts for FH!!!
I originally came up with the idea for people that don't do standard art.
And since rping is a big thing with FH I figured it would be best to open a writing contest for you guys!!!

Community Activities Hub / 🎃Judges and Prize Volunteers needed for Halloween Contests!!!(4/6 OPEN)🎃

Hello everyone,

This year we are having multiple events and contest going on.

Right now we are in need of Judges for the Various contests we are having. These contests include the following...

🎃  Character Creation Contest
🎃  Short Story/Writting Contest
🎃  Digital Art Contest

Note some will be held more than once. And Judges will switch out allowing some judges to participate if desired.

We are also in need of volunteers to provide Art or Prizes for winners of the contest. I already have volunteered myself. But it would be nice for others to help with that.

We need a total of 6 Judges(2/6 judges places filled)


Another note about the RP Events. Those will be posted soon.
Note they will be based on slots. This means each event will be able only to have so many people in it.
This will be done to prevent issues within the event. However, there will be more than 1 which will give everyone the opportunity to join one. (I made a total of 4 prompts/ Scenarios for these rps. so I'm pretty sure I made enough.)

Currently going to be held at 8pm-10pm EST on Saterday, at Kiwimbi Beach(READ FOR MORE INFO)
Hello everyone,

Hopefully everyone is having a good Evening/morning/day/etc. As we all know currently, everyone seems to notice activity in the Game has been very low. However, Myself, Ame, Domino, and FermieNerd devised some plans to bring activity in-game backup and bring more new players into the game.
Hence, Been working with some friends in the FHS server to come up with extra ideas and ways to bring new people into FH and promote activity in-game.

Currently, this is will be our 5th Gathering coming up.

First of all, these are our goals for starting up these weekly meet-ups in-game.

This would be a place to socialize and meet new people and for groups to advertise and gain members.
This would give a place for newcomers to come to see the community gather and make friends as well as find packs and groups to join.

This will only be once a week and on the same map and area. But if the activity gets good enough and they become a bigger thing we may have the meet-up happen 2 times a week. But for now, we will stick to 1 time a week.

NEWS

This week we had a low turnout of members. Only 3 People showed up(Abaddon, Emerialis, and OddLynx), but thank you to those who did show up. I suspect it was due to the time change for the meet-up Last week. But have no fear. The Meetups times are back on the normal schedule again :3


Next Meet-Up News

For our next meet up we will be meeting up at the normal Times and ScreenShot  Funtimes continue. Both will be at the normal time.

As usual, I will be online if anyone is open to it. I will be online an extra two Hours. 1 Hr before the event, 7pm EST. And 1 hr after the event 11pm EST. This is a stand-in for another event I was wanting to host but was pushed to the back burner due to the weekly meet-ups.
These times will be dedicated to taking awesome screenshots for Ourselves as well as our social media accounts. I know I and a few people have Unofficial Feral-Heart media accounts. So during the events, we will be taking screenshots as well as during these time slots we can go elsewhere in FH and Take Screenshots of the as well.
Figured this was a good idea for everyone since Most will be online anyways and will already be at the event might as well set some time aside for screenshots as well.

Currently, I plan on going to Cherika Valley to Take screenshots cause of course fall.

We will be having games this time around. We are trying to think of more of these games to play and are open to suggestions.

Spoopy Season is coming in Hot!!!
This means the FH Halloween Party is coming up on the 29th of October!!! Get those Preset ready!!!

Kingsservant, Is having a Community Race next week!!!!
The race will be to the top of Ascension Island on Sunday, October 2, at 2-4pm CST(3-5pm EST)
Kings even give away a nice certificate of Achievement to everyone who comes and makes it to the top. It's gonna be awesome and hope to see everyone there!!! Please check out their post for more info on this event.

The free Halloween Preset Slots are now Open. Only 2 of the 3 are left open. If you want one I'll leave the link to the post below.

Currently still thinking about more contests to Have but I have some other event ideas I've been thinking about implementing each week. So stay tuned for those.

What times does the Meetups Take Place?

I debated and sense most people normally have the weekend off. Figured it would be best to schedule the meetups on the weekend.

After debate, I figured out the time as well…

Saturdays at 8pm-10pm EST(Eastern Standard Time)
(This is subject to change if we decided to have the Meetup last longer or less)

Final Bits of Information

There is a chance that we will make up a Spotify playlist to add to this. Also, we may just stream it on Discord as well who knows?

Screenshot Funtimes!!!
As usual, I will be online if anyone is open to it. I will be online an extra two Hours. 1 Hr before the event, 7pmpm EST. And 1 hr after the event 11pm EST. This is a stand-in for another event I was wanting to host but was pushed to the back burner due to the weekly meet-ups.
These times will be dedicated to taking awesome screenshots for Ourselves as well as our social media accounts. I know I and a few people have Unofficial Feral-Heart media accounts. So during the events, we will be taking screenshots as well as during these time slots we can go elsewhere in FH and Take Screenshots of the as well.
Figured this was a good idea for everyone since Most will be online anyways and will already be at the event might as well set some time aside for screenshots as well.

Currently, I plan on going to Cherika Valley And Kibou Ridge to Take screenshots.

We will be having games this time around. We are trying to think of more of these games to play and are open to suggestions.

Fall is closing in Fast!!!
Personally thinking up some good contests to hold and maybe implement into each week. Also, keep your eyes open. Pretty sure FH will have an Offical Halloween Party as always.

The free Halloween Preset Slots are now Open. Only 2 of the 3 are left open. If you want one I'll leave the link to the post below this.

Still Planning on Hosting come Contests of my own this fall. Hopefully, I can find judges to help me with this. That said I will put out an announcement for that next week Hopefully.

What times does the Meetups Take Place?

I debated and sense most people normally have the weekend off. Figured it would be best to schedule the meetups on the weekend.

After debate, I figured out the time as well…

Saturdays at 8pm-10pm EST(Eastern Standard Time)
(This is subject to change if we decided to have the Meetup last longer or less)

There is a chance that we will make up a Spotify playlist to add to this. Also, we may just stream it on Discord as well who knows?

Commissions, Trades, & Requests / Opening for 3(2/3) FREE Halloween Preset Commissions

Hello everyone,

Spooky seasons, as well as Autumn, are upon us!!!
Live for the spooks, chai Lattes, and Warm Pumpkin Spice Lattes!!!!

With this being known I know during October there is normally a Halloween Party normally Held on FH.
And along with it a Preset contest.
And this year I am Hopping to enter it.(Last year I pissed the submission phase.)
Hense to warm up and Just to get people excited for the season. I am gonna offer 3 Free Halloween preset Commissions.

These 3 I will be working on my Twitch Streams once I finish with my current project. (Fall Stream Boarder)

Rules For The Presets

Ok, first yes I'm gonna have a few rules on these guys.
Just I've had issues before so I don't wanna have issues so I'm just gonna have rules for these.

Rule 1 : Not doing standard Characters

This should go without saying, but no regular characters. This means standard characters that you want preset for rp purposes. This will NOT be those types of commissions. These are Halloween commissions, hence fall or Halloween-themed.

A. Now, I will do commissions of characters in Halloween outfits or fitted with a costume. That I will do.
For example, Your character wants to dress up like a witch or Frankenstein or something of that nature.

B. Now if you don't want your character into a costume. But you want a character that would fit the Halloween theme. Like maybe a creepypasta character or magma monster or pretty much anything that fits that style. I'll be willing to do it.

C. Your 3rd option is for me and you to jump into a Discord Screenshared call and we design you a Preset design. This means you Pick an animal and we find a nice color palette and just bounce ideas and such off each other and create a design. After that, I make said design into a preset. (I call this a Freestyle Preset)

I'm gonna go ahead and Clarify this as well, You do have the option for these presets to be coded.

Rule 2: By accepting a Slot you're agreeing to let me Stream the progress on Twitch

This should go without saying, just clarifying to you that these will be streamed on twitch for fun. This gives you the option to watch the progress in real-time as well as gives me some content for streaming.

Now if you choose Freestyled Commission. That part of designing and such will not be streamed.
However, when I get into fully making the preset itself. I will be streaming that.

Rule 3: Please follow my Tos(Terms of Service) Rules.

These rules were made for my protection. 99% of all the rules were made due to past instances. So any rule I can assure you someone has tried. And I do not wish to deal with it again. So no it's not because of you. Just for myself and my protection.

Hey, It's me again, TheEarthSpirit,
Wanted to see what the staff think about a few ideas we all came up with at the Weekly Meet-up on Saturday during our game of 'Would You Rather?'?

We all know FH is mainly an rp or chatting game but due to less activity not really as easy to rp anymore.
I was figuring it would be nice to add some alternate activities to the game to do. That way no one gets bored.

At the meet up we was talking about old IT and how some of the animations...wasn't ehhhh... well done...(Attack animations were the funniest thing I swear. Backflips this flip craziness)

I know prey was talked about long long LONG ago... However, I guessed it was more of a rumor.
I figured that was long dead. But, was thinking maybe it might be a good addition. Cause some people do like a challenge and would add to roleplays.

Maybe like a toggled survival or realism thing where you had to eat and drink aka kill prey and carry the meat around if small enough. But if you toggle the survival or realism it does nothing to your character but still allows them to eat and drink?
Also figured for those that just like to sit in the game this would work. So if they didn't want to fight with eating etc they could just toggle the mode off in the Game settings.
Also figured adding edible plants would be cool too cause yes wolfs and lions eat mainly meat but often see them eating plants rarely. (Especially can see that in dogs. They can eat raspberries and strawberries and blueberries among other things. Plus gives options for other creatures to be a thing. Cause since the models can be made into anything since they are so undetailed model-wise.)
Just food for thought.

Other than this maybe add a combat system?
Not just some random clicking combat system like in IT. That was funky and funny as heck. Something that would take a bit of skill to do? Like having fights but you have the ability to latch on to your opponent. But you could do some type of small mini-game to get free? Things like that...

Not to mention maybe if this is both implemented some bosses. Cause old IT had bosses you can fight. We all seemed to miss that as well as figured it would just be fun to do. Plus... PvP fights.

Items we all talked about on that matter. Most of us didn't like it was a play-to-collect items game.
Personally wasn't fond of that either. But maybe some kind of quests would be fun? Maybe a shop to sell prey and other stuff your carrying for some type of currency.
Maybe you could get a working bag or something. Carry Food with you or special items to up combat. Maybe Minor items you could craft? I don't know. Just a suggestion.

We were just throwing stuff around just cause we could which was fun. Figured just had extra stuff to do and the option to stay afk and stuff still able to be done. Just for people that get bored you got options.

All I wanted to suggest. I figured mods wouldn't like some of them. But some we thought were good ideas/suggestions.
