Locked Up

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c5E4W1G2S4I&feature=youtube_gdata_player

"Today marks the day where the human race advances," The president, Hugh Baldwin, spoke quite loudly. "Where women are going to be kept within doors, and only there." The shock and anger could be felt from around the United States within every room, state, building, etc., all from the women who were watching the broadcast. "The women will be kept in three types of cells, only for different severities," He continued, sternly and quite forward. "The lowest severity will be kept only inside the common household and is not allowed outside. The medium severity will be kept only in jail cells - any who escape will be arrested." He paused, letting it sink into the brains of the viewers. "And those who's levels are the highest are going to be put in padded rooms, and any felons who escape will be killed on spot." With that, he left the podium. Silence was heavy on the television and the viewers, until multiple men smashed into homes, taking the wives and teenagers and small children away from their families, taking the women already within cell walls, taking every woman and girl to the forest where no-one could find them until they were able to go home - if able to go home.

It's been two years since, only two, but the United States' plans had spread world wide, and soon, every country had been doing the same thing. Putting up the stations where they kept the women of the two last severities in almost every forest, desert, and a few even in the ocean. Some women are released for only a few hours, left to wander the streets and having no rights and men having no rules against taking advantage of the women left to roam. It's decreased some human population, though some countries have a "breeding program" - just like animals. Despite being treated mostly like animals, they do get proper care - atleast the two first severities, these two severities are considered wellfed.

Other Games / OFF - Anyone Played?
« on: July 19, 2014, 12:28:56 pm »
So, I've currently fallen in love with this game and was wondering if there were any other players, or maybe people who've watched someone pay it.

It's a little difficult to find around on most sites, which is pretty normal for a single worded title. -Small laugh-
Well, if you don't know what OFF is, it's a French surreal game that can be quite off-putting if you've yet to handle surrealism; especially its music (could be considered "bad" if you don't have a taste for the music).

If you haven't heard of it or played it, etc., I hope you like(d) it.

With Alduin defeated, the people of Skyrim can now relax and enjoy themselves. Well, can they truly? With thieves, thugs, and bandits running around and most off without feeling the presence of guards or any kind of safety, no-one can actually at rest, but the dragons are gone - defeated by the dragonborn; sadly, the dragonborn has died, natural causes of old age. It's left people to wonder, even though it was five generations ago, if there's another dragonborn yet to rise, or maybe more dragons are yet to come.
A feeling of reassurance is all these people need, but even with that, most are still skeptical about it not happening in the near future; others are skeptical if the dragonborn really did kill all the dragons, or if it even happened. Nothing much has been going on, besides the increased chances of robberies as there are no dragons to pick off bandits that had not sought a shelter - rare, but they happen. Shakedowns have also been happening more quickly, violently spreading. Is Skyrim to come with the horrible disease of criminally infested? Most likely, but there are still those who hope not to succumb to anything they consider "evil."

Within a New World

Fierce, large cats that came from the forest had lost their homes - from which the people knew not of - and came into the town nearby the forests' edge. It wasn't much of a walk, though no-one knew where the animals actually came from. Despite this, most were friendly - atleast it seemed so - towards the humans, though others weren't so welcoming.
Within the alleyway, there lay a group of cats, humans hardly knew this group, though would often see them. These alley cats would always harass the humans' pets, a lot of fights broke out and the humans definitely knew something was going on.
---
The forest was being destroyed, leaving the feral forest cats homeless and vulnerable. Now, they're the opposite of what they used to be - most, atleast. Most turned into "kittypets," as the strayed forest cats would call them, whereas others remained as a "rogue". Some even joined the group of alley cats, helping in harassing and fighting with the others.
The cats had different names for their groups, even the housecats, and they had different terms for just about anything and everything it seemed.
-
The alley cats called themselves, and it often stuck with the other cats, a "Clan" - "BarbedClan". BarbedClan was made of cats of different sizes, shapes, ages, and ranks. They were often quiet from humans, besides a few attacks when one of their children would venture too close, or when a kitten would be too curious for its own good. Their fierce and can be seen as a "killing machine" to the humans, so most beware and stay away. Some of the forest cats had joined BarbedClan, seeing as it was quite similar to their old lifestyle and didn't want to give into change. Because of this, BarbedClan can get their paws on whatever they want as long as they have the right cat with the right "victim".
-
The housecats, or "kittypets" as the Clan and strays called them, were just your average housecat, if not more violent and destructive. Most of the forest cats were put into their own family and are just as loving as their people are to them, but some long to venture in the wild once more, freely and cage-less. Due to them and some of their friends going into the Clan, they can be naive to some of the antics of the Clan.
-
The strays are calm, but lash out towards humans if they stray too close. The strays call themselves "rogues" - atleast the more hostile ones - and "loners" - the ones who are more peaceful. They're seen as pathetic and worthless towards the Clan as they carry no human for food or anything of the sort, and they're not exactly able to get to the stuff the Clan needs.

(The descriptions above does not apply to all characters; it would be the average list but will most likely apply to your character.)

Flock of a Feather

Hidden on the Earth, just out in the middle of the ocean - between Japan and Hawaii - there's a group of floating islands. They're high above the ocean, and can be difficult to spot during the sun's lowest positions. On these floating islands - which you may doubt it - there lay living creatures. Creatures that may or may not had existed millenniums ago now populate the floating islands. Besides the fact that they're floating and have special ecosystems altogether, they're not exactly special.
Now, unless you're able to fly, there's no way onto the islands - atleast, not safely if you have a helicopter or something similar. If you find the exact area of which the islands are, you can only gaze up at the roots of plants and - though it's least likely - spot a creature or two. Scientists had. They tried almost everything to get up there, but most attempts only failed and scared away the animals. They did catch a view of multiple of the fleeing animals. What they found astounded them.

|-Winding Down-|

Darkness coats your eyes besides a few slots of light from above. You can feel your body moving, but you're not walking anywhere. A slight panic rises in your throat, but calm down as you feel the movement eventually stop. Your eyes looked around, trying to find the exit, but a loud 'Shhhuck' noise brings your ears backwards and you follow with your head. A man had opened the exit, getting into the dark, crowded area and whistling a little. He seemed calm, but you were unsure about him. He put a lead around your neck, gently tightening it and then taking you somewhere. You weren't to disobey.
He led you out to an open field, few horses dotted the landscape before you, then you took off running before the man could object.  How the free wind felt perfect through your mane. However, you didn't know it at the time, but you were actually meant for racing. You would've been devastated to find out if you had stayed. Atleast you had this field for the time being.

Horses are being brought into a new stable-ranch combination, including you. Trainers are being brought in to break, race, and just plain ride the horses brought to the stables, but are carefully selected. The stable-ranch combination, also known as "Briar Meadows", is highly expensive to get into for people, but can be worth all the troubles to get in. Briar Meadows is very new, and dwells within the country side, making it the perfect place for horses and trainers alike.

Discussion Board / Drifting Away...? (Maybe a little depressing)
« on: July 03, 2014, 04:30:12 am »
On my way home from my grandparents' house, I started to think about all the wonderful relationships I currently have and formerly had. However, I then started to realize that some of my friends have been choosing to ignore me. Well, I wouldn't exactly say "ignoring", but I have no other choice word for it. They just stopped talking to me completely, and when I tried to make conversation, they never talk to me.
Sure, you might think that they're busy role-playing or something, however they weren't. They were talking very freely in Local with no pauses to answer or any hesitation. I said their nickname that I or another had lovingly given them, and said my usual greeting - only to get no response.

I keep thinking that they're mad at me or I did something, and not to mention that I'm quickly forgotten within my group of friends - which seems to be getting smaller and smaller.
Maybe it's just me, though. Maybe it's all just in my head.

Anyway, anyone wanna share their story of being forgotten or them feeling left out?

|| Tenebrous ||

It had been an average morning for you, nothing out of the ordinary. Until your school decided to have an unexpected road-trip; it wasn't often this happened, but it did occur at your school. You had no idea where the school buses were taking anyone, except for a town called "Roublus", wherever that was. You had your own doubts about it being a real place, and your teachers were tricking all of their students to go somewhere boring. Despite your doubts, and most likely everyone else's, it was quite loud on the bus you were assigned to. Normal for your school, as almost everyone was rowdy even in the morning. They must've been excited to just skip out of learning, even though that wasn't how school trips went.
You glanced at your watch. Ten-thirty in the morning. You gave a groan, and plugged your headphones into your MP3, letting it run. Unconsciously, you closed your eyes. Within less then ten minutes, you slipped off, feeling peaceful with the music and large bumps.
That was a horrible mistake. Multiple students had fallen asleep, too, and woke up around the same time you had. You groggily looked around you, seeing gray fog surrounding the bus and the other students. A large sign was in front of the bus, and it looked like the bus had crashed into the sign. "R O U B L U S" was thickly written on the sign, though there was no "Welcome to" or "Hello" or any caption underneath as well. "What?" You said outloud, breaking the silence. The other students looked at you with a strange glance, blinking a few times, then they looked at the sign.
You decided to step off the wrecked bus, and wander outside.
That was another mistake.

Forum Games / The Honest Game!
« on: June 10, 2014, 06:59:45 pm »
Alright, this game is pretty simple. All you have to do is list something (doesn't matter) that you either love or hate. You must pretend (or not) that you hate the thing that you said, but you must make the reason exaggerated and unreasonable, and then somebody guesses if you're being truthful or not. And then they would list their thing and start over.

Example:

1: Toothbrushes; I hate toothbrushes so much! They make me wanna cry, because they're all gross! Plus, if you had the same colored one as your sister, you be using her's! That's gross!
2: You're lying!
Fluorite Plains; ...

You get the point.
Now, you don't have to tell them if you were lying or not, but you can.
Have fun!

Jell Pens; I cannot stand Jell Pens, because when I'm drawing, or maybe writing, it gets in my way! What if they were all over the place, though? We'd be swimming in their gross jell!
