The Lithodome

Lithodome; Based off the word "Lithodomous." Meaning; living in burrows or rock.
And that's just what they do. They burrow. The Lithodome is designed over ages of revolution to burrow, to dig, to create new tunnels. Often they spend nearly their entire lives underground, in the vast tunnel system that stretches for miles and miles under the surface of the Feral Heart and Impressive Title world.

Bedrock
Oh, glorious Bedrock! The heart and soul of the Lithodome society. The Litho-made cavern, known to the species as "Bedrock," is thought of as the basis of the species. This place can only be thought of as the true home of all Lithodome. Here is where the mighty coliseum can be found, where the Lithians can come to have service with their god, the Lord of the Earth, Asathra. Here is where the most skilled of the species make their trade with the rest of their kind in the main cavern. This is the beating heart of the species, of the community.

Appearance;
The Lithodome is short, around two feet at the shoulder, though they make up for it in length. They are built this way to travel through the tunnels with ease. They have a very feline-like head, almost like a cat's with a larger and slightly longer muzzle. They have large paws with very long, nearly unbreakable claws, used to gouge out paths into packed dirt and even hard rock. They come in an endless variety of colors, from brown to tan, to white to black. The possibilities are endless! Their natural markings are usually either splotches or spots. Very occasionally are there stripes, but splotchy stripes are common.
Due to the Lithians being a sort of tribal community, it is not uncommon to see them with paints and dyes on. This is where brighter colors and set patterns introduce themselves to the species. Natural marking colors usually are not much different from the pelt color. The stomach and muzzle (underfur) usually is just a lighter or darker version of the pelt hue. Eye color comes in many hues. There really is no color that is not possible for a Lithodome. The species can have either thick fur or short fur, depending on what part of the world they reside in. Fluffy tails or skinny ones, no matter, as long as the tail is long.

Phyisical Features;
The Lithodome has a very strong tail, strong enough to hold their own weight. All of the species can hold things with their tails, but some might be more skilled at this with others. Some can even create things using this ability. They are sturdy and muscular, all these attributes coming from the physical labor of burrowing their entire life. As said above, their claws are long and hard enough to break through rock and dirt. They have sharp teeth in the front of their mouth, though behind these are molars.

Diet and Habitat;
As I've said endless times, the Lithodome species most often lives in burrows, though some do stray from the underground sanctum. These being can be found nearly everywhere. The Lithians are nearly immune to natural weather conditions. If it's hot, they shed their fur to match the climate. If it's cold, vice versa. Rain is a bit tougher, considering their pelt is more soft and fluffy like a cat's, and not stiff and oily to match the moisture. All in all, you probably wouldn't find a Lithodome in a damp place, such as a swamp or marsh, but anything is possible. The species usually eats insects, which are easiest to find underground, but they can also eat meat and carrion, as well as plants. Fresh meats and plants such as Mint, Parsley, and other edible things with a decent taste are thought of as a delicacy.

Behavior and Breeding Habits;
In the burrows of the Feral Heart and Impressive Title world, the species is rarely ever out to harm each other. Think about it as an extremely wide-spread community. Murder is not only looked down upon, but whoever committed it is either shunned or run out of the tunnel system. The Lithians are an extremely non-violent bunch. The worst thing to them is war, and it's a nightmare if they ever have to come to that. They are a tribal breed, with slightly advanced intelligence. They have their own god, Asathra, and spirits who "aid her as she takes care of the Earth." In Bedrock, Lithians can go to get "jobs" for a little extra food or maybe a precious item over the course of time. These jobs are things such as cleaning the tunnels of things such as dead animals and feces. (Though it is highly looked down upon to release one's self in the tunnels. Most Lithians go above ground to do this.) Another thing they do is go off in groups to fix collapsed or decaying tunnels, or sometimes they are sent off to swim in one of the many under-ground pools and attempt to retrieve the florescent crystals that go there. During breeding, the males must present the females with something of value before they court. They are a monogamous group, meaning they have one mate their entire life, and if that one person dies, they never mate again. Rape or "cheating" is very looked down upon in the Lithian culture.

Creation in Feral Heart;
Male;

This is the basic male settings. A short muzzle, slightly larger chin, etc. You'll notice that they are a bit more stocky than the females. Obviously, these settings can be changed slightly, just don't go too crazy with it.

Female;

The basic female settings. The female has a larger bridge of the nose and larger eyes, as well as a slightly more fragile build.

Usable Tails:
Thick Tail, Round tail.

Usable Manes:
Any mane works, though it depends on the gender and where the animal resides. Females tend to have shorter manes than males.EX: Tundra = Thick mane. Desert = Short mane.

Usable Ears:
Ears are always facing back or down to prevent rocks or soil from getting inside.
Ghould Ears, Cow Ears, Dragon Ears, Goblin Ears, Leogui Ears, Neko Ears.

Tufts:
Same as the mane, Female's tend to have shorter tufts. All tufts work.

Markings:
Basically anything with spots or splotches.

Considering it would be kind of pointless to list every single marking you can use on a natural Lithodome, I'm going to list the ones you can not use.

Jaguar1, Marble2, Ocelot, Swirl, Tiger, Tiger2, Spiral, Stripes, Collar, Backleg Stripes, Striped Legs, Butt Stripes, Celtic, Fading Stripes.
Ham's Markings:
Pinstripe, Glove, Orbs, Stary, Hexes

Markings you can use if your character has tribal dyes and paints;
Swirl, Spiral, Stripes, Striped Legs, Celtic, Fading Stripes, Pinstripe, Orbs, Hexes. Or you could make some of your own.

Eyes:
Normal, Slit, Black, Black Slit, Whole, Whole Slit, Contracted, Blind, Blind Slit, Contracted Slit, Cross Eye, Fire, Oval.

Creation in Impressive Title

BodyMark2, BodyMark3, BodyMark4, BodyMark9, BodyMark12, BodyMark13, BodyMark16, BodyMark18, BodyMark19, BodyMark20

Head Mark; Natural;
HeadMark2, HeadMark3, HeadMark4, HeadMark6, HeadMark8, HeadMark12, HeadMark14, HeadMark16, HeadMark 17

Tail Mark; Natural;
TailMark2, TailMark3, TailMark4, TailMark5,TailMark6, TailMark7, TailMark8

BodyMark1, BodyMark6, BodyMark8, BodyMark11, BodyMark15, BodyMark17

Head Mark; Tribal
HeadMark1, Head Mark11, HeadMark13, HeadMark15

Tail Mark; Tribal
TailMark1

Size;
The sizes range from 0.45 to 0.6
Obviously males tend to be bigger than females, and children are most definitely small. These are the sizes for adults, so young cubs might be yet smaller than 0.45.

*Am I missing any catagories? Is anything hard to read or is it just plain ugly? Do you have any type of issue with anything on the thread? Please let me know so I can fix it!
