Prologue~ The night sky appeared over the ground, finally covering the earth will total darkness. The wind howled outside, but it seemed faint, from the window. The window seemed to be a barrier, keeping the cold out, as a shield for the silent, sleeping black kit. The black kit was snoozing, like any kit would do. Even thought it was asleep, its whiskers twitched, as he was dreaming. The kit dreamed to be hoping around, chasing all types of fun things he could find. But then, dark, grey clouds starting drifting above the kit's twinkling eyes, and shot out soft, gentle rain. The kit bounced around, hating the water that splashed onto his sleek fur, that now turned drenched. Before he could reach home, a dog slashed into the kit's way, its angry eyes flaring at the kit, and the kit shivered with fear. Its eyes were colored yellow, and it stormed over the kit, like as if it's eyes were fire, melting the poor kit. Finally, it made a finally leap, its lashing jaws right toward Vark.                                                                                                                                                                                                    The kit raised his alarmed head, but blinked in relief, to just see the familiar brown walls of the house. Vark made a sigh, that echoed into the total silence. He perked his ears, at his name being called back. "Vark!" The owners called, and Vark got up to his four lazy, drowsy paws. He bounded down stairs, every step he made, he had to outstretch his paws to each stairs, so he won't tumble down like a rock. As he arrived the first floor, he could smell the aroma of the cat food can drift into his nostrils. There he found, his food waiting like it always promised. Vark dipped his head into the cat food, clomping small chunks of soft food into his empty stomach. Finally, he started to lay down on the ground again, his big stomach hitting the wood floor.
