Jazz stumbled when she heard a painful howl, but she was way to far away to reach it. She skidded to a hault and sped towards camp. Being lean it was easy to run far distances, but her jog took a while. She slowed down once she reached camp, with nothing but a fat rabit. She hoped prey would be more plentiful later in the day. As she headed towards the den she had figured out what was happening. She set the rabit down and laid down by it, waiting and watching. Resting her head down on the grass, she watched the gleaming sky and it's surrounding clouds, hoping the time would rush by faster if she did so. But she soon found it hard to keep her eyes open.
