Game Help / Original FH file, not FH+

Soo I have another friend from deviantART that had trouble making an account and she finally did today as I told her when it was open. Thankfully she got in time and made the account but I believe she may have downloaded the wrong package information for the game..To me it seems like she may have downloaded FH+ because she's experiencing this "black world". I'm sure she wants to have the other FH package and am not sure which to link her with since it's been quite a while since I've last downloaded the game. Perhaps anyone can oblige?

So I think I'll start off with some general basics that everyone would know. First and foremost, I was never a forums person until around this time, I was more preoccupied with the game and making friends. I was very active around 2011-2012, so I ran around without wings and without new map additions. However I do remember a lot and I can say I remember the constant lag when Ascension island was implemented and it was the word for everyone to climb and then fall and RAGE. I was like that as well, because of the computer my parents had and never really upgraded and so I vanished! *Gasps!* Yet I have returned since I kept coming on once in a while for whatever reasons and have allowed myself to stop drifting and start making new friends - since my friends-list is um, rather full with inactive or no longer interested members. I had fun times with the people on my list and refuse to remove them, just in-case they return...just in case. ;_; Over time I have matured since I felt reckless and even know how much I have changed by learning and knowing when to stop acting who I'm not really am.

I am in-love with my new characters I have created ever since I found out (finally!) about the mass markings and Legendary pack of items. I always have seen people looking like marshmallows and decided to actually download the files provided and go from there. Annnnnnnnnnd I was not disappointed! It was the best decision I have ever made and have made non-stop characters and even gave several a makeover. My main character is Nightshade, she looks like a shaman with horns and the tribal tattoo markings, you'll see some screenies of her on my da. I cannot seem to understand how to make a preset and even the tutorials don't seem too fitting for my mind to handle. xD

Any who, my name is Kelsey and I'm 22 years old, so you figure I was 18 when I joined, sheesh doesn't time fly? Well, I kind of wish to o back in time personally but at the same time I wouldn't be where I am today. I have been diagnosed with a disability called Bilateral (meaning both) Optic Atrophy; I am near-sighted and have some double vision that doesn't often make me see duplicate things or people, my brain somehow recognizes how to function but it's really hard to explain this, so I won't confuse anyone any longer. :s But here's a note: I can never drive, so that's a obstacle I have to some how maneuver and not allow this to get in my way as far as transportation goes! I still live at home in the southern state of New jersey and enjoy the Autumn and Winters here, I despise the summers only because my energy is drained and the humidity is not fun to be exposed to - for my anyways.

My hobbies consist of taking strolls to video games and of course my favorite of all time, photography. \o/ I am a nature photographer and take pictures of animals, plants, sometimes people and a lot of sunrise/sunset shots. I have been doing this since the end of 2012 where my parents gave me a (crappy) Kodak camera and I'd say it was a beginners source and eventually my brother was upgrading his Nikon DSLR and so he gave me his Nikon D3000 this passed Christmas and have used it tons. Just recently I ordered another lens that is set for macro shots, motorized with a 70mm-300mm. o/

Game Help / User-name Recognized But Not Found? [Solved(?)]

So, I created an account for a friend a couple years ago and sadly I don't remember the email or password but do know the user-name and recognize the name on the site for topics, etc. However, when I try to log into that specified account, it tells me that this account doesn't exist? Well frankly if I search the name of it and it pops up in the search as an option, why doesn't the log for capturing that user-name validate? @_@

I really hope to know the reason to this and I have messaged a moderator, however, not sure how to check if they received it or not since when I sent it the outbox is empty and I searched the subject in my messages and that as well says there's no history of it sent. So, is there a bug I should be worried about? Please help since I would very much appreciate the time and effort retrieving it soon!

Game Help / How Can I Be Able To See Pre-sets, In-game?

I got back into the gameplay just recently and remember that for some people I cannot see their skins or customized pelts in any way or form. It's just a bland, white tone that surrounds any customized section, whether it's the head, tail, legs or eyes - I can't see them and would love to know if there's something I need to install OR if I need to install something apart of the game. Like a package that may have corrupted, etc.

I'm new to this pre-set thing and have yet to attempt at creating it but it's so confusing since I'm not an artist or work around that category of interest but I am interested on making my own creations. Just it'll take some time to consume the knowledge!

Game Help / Window Closes before it Proceeds

The title somewhat fits it x3
m ok so, I pick my adjustments, screen resolution, etc. I click ok and the screen is loading then closes right away :/
I'm using Windows XP, my boot-up for games. Though I also have a selection of Ubuntu Linux Mint 9 and I guess it doesn't matter by the system but Windows is being a derp.
I tried UN-installing so far 3 times, downloading set-up, trying to play it fails, I download the patch, fails again.
I'm an administrator of this computer, I'm running it with Open GL and so far that has always worked for me, not sure why it's not loading passed the point to log-in. Suggestions anyone?

Game Help / Issues Opening Window

Just recently I've downloaded the game, after a few months of bad hard drive system in my computer.I'm using Ubuntu Mint, though I play my downloadable games on Windows XP. Though with lack of anti-viruses I'm taking my chances D;Anyways, I used to play this game using the option, OpenGL, other than Direct3D9Well, after it asks me to close my window in order it to work, I do and then clicking on the icon itself, while waiting, the window opens, but closes right away, I would get a screen shot, but the window closes and I just get my background picture.Is anyone else having the same problems, or am I missing a file or something with Windows? Please Help! I can't stand this lag any longer, and don't wish to use during game-play.
