Megan walked alone, on a path that seemed to go to nowhere. A path that took forever to get to its destination. The blizzard had hit in the mountains and she needed to get to the ground, but, she couldn't slide or climb down the mountain side because of the hazards of falling plus, it was behind her. Following her every movement. Tracking her every sound, her every breath.
The wounds on her wrists were numb with the wet ice that melted once it came in contact with her fur and soaked through to the skin.
She arrived at the bottom in three days, ready to start her journey of starting a new pack. Or joining one. She was born on a full moon so her pack that she was going to start would be called, blood moon.
There was one problem.
No one could see her.
